lol, good luck with hotels! We'll be there night 2. We wanted to stay nearby, didn't want to mess with Uber. Tried to find an overnight parking lot, rent a camper; but that was difficult.
yeah - I made the executive decision not to drink at this one, especially considering how much we’re spending. Logistics now set tho. I bought parking and will stay at a hotel 24 miles away, which will probably take close to two hours to get to after the show. Worth it
We bolted as soon as the last chord struck for Karma (maybe even 10 seconds early) and got out in Tampa right away. We know people who stayed until she left the stage and they were stuck in the parking lot for over an hour. Suffice to say, make a plan and be ok with its consequences.
ButchCassidy let me know if you decide to sell. Not looking for a price break, just actual market price so neither of us have to pay stubhub's ridiculous fees. We'd both come out better.
Isn’t Indy pretty much built to handle big events? B1G Championship game, Super Bowl, Final Four, Natty, etc
I got stuck in a parking lot for two hours after a Def Leppard concert at the Shoreline in 1988 so this doesn't really seem like a bad deal
Had pretty similar when leaving Thomas Mack Center from the PBR and when Uber was still on thin ice in Vegas, had to walk a good ways to get a rogue one willing to drive near there. I was an idiot and didn't plan my exit ahead, the taxi line/limo/bus option was comedy. Swift concerts have to be absurd exits.
Yea it's nuts. It's a 35% tax lol. 35%!!! I could stomach $2500-3000 but $4500 just makes me feel wasteful.
I looked at buying some KU football tickets that were listed at $21 on Stubhub this weekend. $14 per ticket in fees - 2/3 of the value of the ticket. Stubhub should be disbanded.
Wife was going to go to Europe with a Friend, but ended up missing out on a flight deal. That friend tried to talk my wife into going to this show instead. Luckily my wife saw TS in Atlanta for face value
I've looked at half a dozen different sties and they are all the same. I realize they need to make something to facilitate the transaction but 35% is egregious.
If you’re going to spend that much, sell another pair of shoes and put them on the floor instead of way back
They aren't doing it for free. I think they just show the price with the fees built in so you dont have to click through 4 screens to get the real price.
I’ve tried selling on there before and it didn’t seem to be the case. What I listed as my price was the price shown. They do take a % so sort of what you’re saying but it was only like 15% I think so significantly lower
Basically where my wife and daughter are sitting on one of the Miami nights. Next door neighbor (who's had all the fucking luck with presale codes and getting in before the site crashes) got floor tickets for the next night, but doesn't want any kids to go, so I'm driving to Miami to pick my daughter up while Mrs. Scorpio goes to night 2.
I've got some extra Metallica tickets I'd be willing to sell you. She wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
I saw Taylor for her reputation tour and was pissed at the 300 dollar price. The fact that yall, and your spouses, are spending so much money to see her live is crazy. It’s three hours. And probably not a good view. if this is a hot take I’ll take a lap
I think most are not spending crazy prices I paid around $340 each for my wife and I It’s not face value costing this much
