Didn't see a thread...I thought I remember one but I guess it was lost. Just started the first book...only ~100 pages...haven't read much fantasy, but the kindle preview got me interested in this. The writing and universe are already far superior to ASOIAF imo. I know there's a shit load of these books...is there a different reading order that is better than the release order? Or a recommended stoppage point because I think Robert Jordan died?
A good start to increase enjoyment of the series is to skip every chapter from a female POV. I'm not kidding. Read the wiki for the female characters up to the point where you are currently in the series anytime you feel confused.
Nope read from book 1 until the end. Brandon Sanderson finished the last 3 books using Jordan's notes and did a fantastic job.
I finished these a few months back. There's a definite lull from books 7-10. Books 11-14 are some of my favorite ever.
