I saw it pop up on torrance and was instantly interested. Then I saw it was produced by MTV and knew it probably wasnt going to be good. If it was done by a third party like an actual documentary that discussed all the scandals, it would be well worth the watch. But then again, no way MTV allows a doc like that to use their footage.
Is Turbo’s arc that he’s the hot head and not to be messed with? Him getting pissy on the yacht over champagne and then at Devin’s martial arts joke at the elimination seemed more scripted than normal
They really need to ban teams helping other teams in the eliminations. Turbo's an ass but that was ridiculous
Indeed...and a good comeuppance is always fun, but when it's not even a remotely fair competition it just makes it boring
I kind of wonder if that game was chosen to get Turbo out of the house. The rest of this cast seems pretty fun/easy to get along with...he felt like a ticking time bomb that could really disrupt the show if it went off if he took a big name or two out with him.
*Bananas walking into the game and saying "Hey Turbo...you haven't killed anybody yet?" was pretty funny *Tori talking about how she's gotten lots of therapy for her mental health...and how she feels like a completely new person...after not talking to Jordan for a year and a half...only for him to show up as a member of the show was also a moment. *Am I missing something in the history with Michelle and Nany? Michelle saying she views Nany as a sister seemed like that was a feeling that was not reciprocated by Nany.
Michelle/Nany are friends outside of the game via some random connection...but yeah it seemed way over the top
It's kind of wild how editing can change your stance on people. I use to find Tori so loathesome. Now I feel so bad for her Jordan got sprung on her lol.
Nam has to have the worst luck of any competitor ever on the show. I like the potential these season but too many signs that it's going to be the Nany show again this year. Between her mother's death and friendship with Bananas they had more than enough material to milk for the season, bringing Kaycee back was completely unnecessary. Also she seems to have lost weight in her face, which makes her veneers stick out even worse. It's hard to pay attention to anything else when she's talking.
Theo back is awesome. Looks like one of his former gf's was on the UK version so that could be juicy. The Tristan guy could be a decent athlete, think he tried being a pro boxer.
That show sucked because they didn’t have a single person from the actual Challenge. I don’t understand that decision.
Here's The Challenge: Australia cast. Starts next month. https://www.refinery29.com/en-au/2022/09/11106572/the-challenge-australia-2022-show-details
Would be up there with Landon winning with Carley on FM2 or really Wes and Casey finishing 3rd in FM1
Took me a while to figure out what the point of the first piece was for. It basically opened up the gate first on the top part for whoever won the bottom part?
I believe if your team won the bottom part, the top doorway would open 1 second faster than the other teams.
Olivia was a beast in that elimination. Really surprised me as she has the whole influencer/bimbo look of a terrible competitor that gets eliminated in the first few episodes.
Jordan was good about it at the end, but it was pretty funny when she was like "I have so many questions!" after cornering him and his instant reaction was to basically blurt out while laughing "What questions?".
