I think she’s obviously dead. Killed herself because she couldn’t have a kid?
That’s Toby’s sister, no?
Being fat killed her
no thats the skinny girl that was in her support group that Kate got all upset at because she was skinny
That was like 20 years in the future. She died because she’s a fat fuck.
We don’t know when she dies
Just watched. Got a little dusty in the room toward the end, per usual.
Randall's reactions when Deja showed him the gift at first and then when he opened it up and it was running shoes and said go ahead and sign the adoption papers
pure tears of joy right there
That can’t be Kate that they’re going to see. It’s too obvious. And I know it’s her aunt, but Randall’s daughter isn’t particularly close with her or anything.
Also think it’s too obvious that Kate would be the dead one but I’m hoping that’s the case because she’s a cunt and I could live with it. At the end of last season I thought it was Beth. She’s too awesome to lose. Her Kevin speech was 10/10
Tony gets off meds. Kate blames herself and ends it. Fuck her let the too obvious happen. Only other death I could see is Rebecca... at some point she’s gotta die
Jacks heart to heart talks with Rebecca are awesome. TF was she kissing that dweeb on her doorstep.
Beth and Randall just have the best inside jokes/stuff they do... swear on Oprah
Toby isn't wearing a wedding ring in the flash forward scene, so there's that.
Do agree Kate is too obvious.
My money is on Rebecca.
Randall looks too aged for it to be Rebecca unless she lives until she is ancient
I would love to see how hot ancient Rebecca is.
rebecca is 30 when she has the kids. so 66 when the show starts / 68 in season 3. Randall looks a lot older and his daughter who was 8 i think when we met them first... so having a job/out of college I'd say she's in her 20s and would mean rebecca is 80+ if she's still around.
so it being rebecca wouldn't really be a shock or that depressing for any of them would just be an old woman dying.
you say that but I cried harder when William died than when Jack died
I know this is blasphemy to write about
honestly the Memphis episode beats out the Fire episode as the best episode of the series
aye bud. i agree because we the viewers knew it was coming for a long time. hoooowever I was talking about the characters in the show. kate being dead at 80+ in the future timeline I don't think would be getting the reactions they've giving. Tess especially.
what if going to see "her" is someone else who's husband has died and it's not a dead female at all
Or going to see Kate in the fucking looney bin. Has anyone actually said someone was dead? I only remember is "going to see her" maybe Randall uses past tense on the phone with Toby.
The actual surprise later in the season after we find out it’s kate that died
Toby killed her in some This is Us style accident bc of being off meds/depression
Get em Tobe
Thought this episode was lame.
They are all so fucking sensitive.
so Kate is a fucking asshole bitch and a racist
hopefully she dies trying to conceive this baby
But how dare they bring back William and Jack
I wasn’t ready
can we talk about how shitty this family is
Jack was a hall of fame father of course but hid most of his early life from Rebecca and his alcoholism almost drove them apart
Rebecca is a shitty mother and almost cheated on Jack
Kevin is a manchild who has made selfish decisions over and over again driving him into his dad’s alcoholism. I mean he is getting better but his history is rough.
Kate is a selfish, stone cold hearted bitch who has nothing to offer this world of theirs. No job, driving Toby to depression again because they naturally can’t have a baby because she couldn’t put down packs of cookies and pop tarts.
The only decent people on this show are Randall and Beth and now Kate just shat on Randall’s life
I started episode 2 and just didn’t want more Kate so I turned it off. Not sure I’ll even give it another try
I'm close to doing the same
... This is unfortunate timing.
That was a great moment
Toby and randall are the stars of this family
NEXT WEEK IS THE VIETNAM JACK EPISODE
couldn't get into kate's little sleep demon shit. But flashback Jack stories are just great stuff and Randall/Beth scenes never disappoint.
how fucking red-flaggy 5-star clinger was Rebecca's ex boyfriend? Jesus Christ show up out of the blue, bring her over to get grilled by him and his family, and then ask her to move to NYC with you... so many red flags glad that didn't last more than half an episode.
Really liked the way that was done
Kinda feel like they left something out about how Jack's dad went from "I dont drink" to full blown alcoholic in just a few years, or did I miss something
hope they somehow let us know what happened there at some point
Starting the Jack in Vietnam episode. I’m not sure I’m ready.
were you ready for him to die in front of you
I was 337, not drafted.
had I been born on July 3rd I would have been drafted
YOUR DRAFT NUMBER 28
WAS CALLED IN 1970.
If your birthday was just 2 days earlier, your draft number would not have been called.
323. Not called.
262 not called
But I got got by Thanos so I guess I'm even
I’m shocked that you weren’t already drafted into Vietnam
Nope. Was conceived due to concerns dad would be, die and no offspring. He wasn't. My bff's dad was tho
311. Says if I would have been born one day earlier then I would have been drafted, wow.
I have put in all of my male family members’ birthdays. We all got drafted.
I was not drafted by 1 day.
Way to go Jack’s dad, you became everything you resented about your dad
thats typically how it happens
Unpopular opinion: the Vietnam episode sucked. Super boring and complete filler that provided nothing.
