'Youre wrong about' is a pretty good podcast imo. In the same vein, I've tried to see/understand where or why people bring up shit like this. Trying to understand how shit works or why it exists gets murky, for sure. It gets pretty gross doing sociological autopsies on how it goes down

Meh. I was disgusted like everyone by their decision to sexualize a child actor. I think there’s a germ of a comedic idea in the mother’s decision making calculus. Maybe she decides not to leave the kid with the creepy uncle in the end of that idea, but I’m just saying that uncomfortable situations can frequently be mined for comedic purposes. I think they failed spectacularly and grossly in this instance.
