Yeah I played the Mariners in the Showdown and they at least had the Reds on their team now. That's a start. Also, they have a nice little lineup now. Much better than the slop they ran out the last few years.

Kyle just had one of the best games I've ever seen. Dude hit 5 bombs with Sanchez against him and he just came back from down 4 and walked it off with a bomb by Mantle.
Anyone have tips on how to help me with hitting? I’m constantly swinging too early I’ve even made the CPU pitches faster with sliders and I’m still always early with my swings it’s driving me crazy
I can help you mentally prepare. Just when you have your timing down they make an update and you feel lost all over again. there are tons of videos and such. Also keep in mind there are dudes who you just won’t ever pick up, Ohtani for me, and dudes who are OP. Good luck.
Really enjoying the game play right now when every pitcher isn't throwing 102 and every batter doesn't have 125 power. Scoring 2-3 runs in an inning without a bomb is great.
Is the showdown repeatable? I did it last night, pretty sure I got the Program XP for it, but now there’s no checkmark next to it
Idk probably $1500 all in but a chunk of that was on packs and feel like that was worth it bc I knocked out a bunch of the silver and bronze guys and some of those are way overpriced right now.

Correct they go rid of it. I could have sworn the pre order said daily double missions. I always enjoyed doing those. Maybe not enjoy, but it was a good way to get more cards. Pulled bellinger for West. I like his swing and card at least.
I’m using strike zone view and while I feel like I’m hitting well. You don’t get to see the uniqueness of each stance.
Damn my 3rd game ws against a guy that was 4-0. I won't 7-5 but the stats aren't registering. Glaus and Trout both hit 2 HR but they aren't showing. Got the Pujols card but not sure where to play him. Soto, Acuna, or Glaus woild have to sit. Frank Thomas isn't sitting. Probably Soto but he's one of only 2 lefty bats right now. May platoon him and Pujols bc Soto isn't as good vs lefties. But man I love Soto's swing.
Go to events and look. My team isn’t there yet to grind that. Hopefully by Monday it will be decent enough.

Just played against a dude's team in the mini seasons thing, and this guy already has every card in the game... He's gotta have spent $1000 already, right? This is insanity. Every single player on his team is 95+, I didn't even know there were that many cards that high already. ... Meanwhile, I've yet to get a diamond.

$1500 is a good number. Think I could have done it for a little less if I'd bought more packs. The 75k for 50 packs is a good investment right now to fill out the lower levels of cards bc a lot of those are way overpriced right now. I only did 2 bundles and started every team with 14-16 players already done. Pulled 6 diamonds too, got lucky that both of my Chase packs were diamonds.
big fan of the COOP mode that is really fun with 3 people but of course the servers are way too trash to complete a game and get any rewards so not really worth the time grind-wise until they fix that. finally got my 1st diamond max lame ass muncy on my ~175th pack and it was because I opened the basic pack and there was a chase pack inside with the diamond. Getting paid back for pulling degrom and sale on opening night last year
