Could do these and sharpie out the Seahawks logo. https://www.nike.com/t/air-zoom-pegasus-38-philadelphia-eagles-mens-running-shoe-QpXfdj/DJ0854-001 no idea why that link says philly. Its the Seattle pair.
I keep seeing US people hyping up SNKRS day tomorrow but thats just for UK people right? I know that's what it has been in the past.
Definitely UK only. It's the anniversary of them getting snkrs so of course Nike made a day of it lol
Adidas going to get so many returns bc people were just entering everything hoping to flip. Don't remember who it was here that thought they'd flip the 500s but you're now losing $25 on that flip. Same thing will happen on snkrs day today, people get excited and just want to win something so they enter everything.
Reason I only went for doves but also I just enter for shit I’d wear. I get people wanting to flip but it really sucks for people that want the shoe to wear.
People see it $50 over retail but don't account for the fees and the prices dropping after the release too.
Oh I get it and I respect people wanting to make money, it just sucks for people that would wear them being forced to resellers. It’s capitalism and I get it, just sucks that it’s getting to places where people are gobbling stuff up for like $5 profits. I hate to say it but I wish they didn’t allow returns on some of this stuff to burn some people that are just trying to flip stuff.
Thats me. Occasionally ill get something i wanted and when it comes in i dont like it as much as i thought so then ill send it back or sell it. Now if theres $500+ to be made im probably entering whether i like it or not.
Same, same. The only ones getting rich are the resell platforms. Don't get me wrong, I still enter stuff that's way over retail, but people need to chill on the entering every fucking thing possible. Retail is $200 ($214 with 7% tax), resell is $215. Bring in a middle man and now the buyer is paying $240 and seller is getting $188. That's $52 being gobbled up by fees, shipping, and taxes. That's insane. Literally only Stockx wins.
Holy hell i didnt know how bad those had tanked. Payout today is $251 for a 9. This was about a year ago.
Does Adidas change the style number or are the 2015 or whatever identical to 2022? If so, that's brutal for anyone that sat on the og.
I have to think a fair amount of these resell stores are also jumping all over these...since we know they're marking them up 30+% from stockx.
I think they kept it the same because StockX has them listed together like (2016/2022) instead of separate years.
Depends on the shoe. I think these red stripes are the same, but the beluga reflective and others had updated product numbers
Trying to get my boy the Lightnings for back to school. Likely will get them from a friend of the family's shop in Hilton Head https://instagram.com/gorilla.kickz_ga?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Not big on buying to flip but I'd like to land a pair on the SNKRS or Nike app to trade against the cost of the Lightning. I'm a rookie at this so I don't know which of the upcoming drops are worth anything. Any help is appreciated. TLDR - Which upcoming drops on either Nike app are going to be highly sought after?
I don’t know how to gauge what will be coveted. But. looking at upcoming releases it doesn’t seem like anything is going to come out that you’re going to be able to flip to defray the cost TBQH. It looks like depending on his size it would be better to go on StockX or Goat and just bite the bullet. Again like I said, I don’t know how to gauge what will be popular or not but I don’t see any big money shoes coming out. Also keep in mind the odds of winning are stacked against you.
I didn't see much either based on the little I know. Was hoping maybe one of the Dunks would be worth a try. And I do acknowledge it's unlikely I'd win a highly sought after pair. Still worth a try was my thinking. The size 6 Lightnings are expensive.
get him the GS 6 they are a little over retail on Stock X and Goat. I assume we’re talking about the 2022 lighting 4s.
yeah so get him the GS ones. They are about 230 on StockX or goat. With fees taxes and shipping you’re looking at 260. Goat also sells new with slight defects (fucked up box, marking etc) for under retail. They have pictures so you check that out. The men’s size 6 are over 700 that’s why I suggested getting him GS sizing instead.
Someone is opening a sneaker and vintage clothing shop downtown in the same block as my building in a much bigger footprint than any of the other sneaker resale stores around here. I’ve been wanting one downtown to be able to sell what I don’t want easier. Bought my gf dunks from the other store in town yesterday and didn’t realize they gave her wrong size until we got home
