This book is very long (1000+ pages) and I'm about 30% in. But in terms of books on great Americans, this one is up there. It is a bit boring in the beginning explaining his family's pioneer roots to Missouri. But most of it thus far (I just got to where FDR dies and Truman is sworn in) has been excellent. I look forward to reading it every day, and up to this point, the book paints a picture of an extraordinary man. Would highly recommend.
