Zero chance we as a society have the attention span or appetite to see this go into 2019. Watergate took a long time, but in the 70s nothing really happened from one day to the next, and everybody got their news from one of the 3 TV channels or the daily paper. Too much info flow and ADHD for us to be able to sustain a two year investigation where everybody is literally on edge 24/7.

I’m torn because I want to give every accuser the right to be heard, but there does seem to be something weird about this one... -Leaked to Roger Stone??? -She is a Trump supporter This... And this... And and this... And and and this... So she basically serially does the same thing she accused Franken of, but because she is an attractive woman it is not considered the same thing? The picture was silly and dumb, but it would have meant much less outside of what she said about him which took place on stage just like what takes place in her videos. Also it appears in the picture that he is faking it and not actually touching her. Just a dumb immature joke. It is nowhere on the scale of the Moore or Trump accusations, which are serial and much more criminal in nature.
Agreed, but it doesn’t appear that there was consent in her videos. That said, she is a woman so it is ok because nobody would feel bad for the men. My point is it is bad, but is minor. When he says it is not the way he remembered it, I can understand why. He was on stage. It’s not like he was going to rape her or that it was a move that was meant to take it to the next level. Compare that to Trump, Weinstein, and Moore and it is hard to view them as the same thing.
in the comments in one of the threads i saw that someone claiming to be the photographer of the groping photo said it was part of a gag that she was aware of. on the other hand, i'm not really sure i want to start digging into this just to tell myself that franken actually isn't a creep.
I totally hear you and I am torn, but at the same time I just don’t see this incident as an equivalency to the other things that have come up recently.
I am not saying she is lying. I do however feel that it is possible that he could have intended it one way and her memory of it and perception was different. He was onstage. She did the same to others. That’s my point. I’m sure she never felt that what she did was wrong, but is it all about how it is received? You can’t anticipate how something is received if you don’t ask for consent, so you are taking a chance. Nobody asked her to do that either, so it is a double standard.
