I know I'm tinfoil hat and I definitely know there are a lot of shitty people there, but seeing that and the felon voting amendment pass so easily just has me questioning their voting system.
Obviously not as big as Sessions but the fucking head of Identity Evropa was at the White House today, as Trump was feigning outrage over that white nationalist question during the presser
I guess that's one way to view it. Just seems odd to take a 500 person sample and extrapolate that to 8 million voters
Ok thanks - missed that tweet. I guess the one thing I’d reiterate is that the remaining ballot numbers being proportional to the population of the various counties doesn’t tell the whole story. It’s a bit of a long shot but I’m not losing hope.
The majority of college educated whites voted for Democrats this election. It's a growing split and continues to become more pronounced. Having said that, 45% of college educated whites still voted for Republicans. Source: https://www.theatlantic.com/educati...cation-gap-explains-american-politics/575113/
Floridians can be concerned about climate change or education or health care, but they dont want to vote for someone who could take a dollar out of their* pockets to pay for those things
the vote in Dade was strange Im worried about the Hispanic vote longterm. The margins in the Trump area should have been insane, to the point the GOP lost that community forever. And Im not talking just Fla, so I am speaking beyond the Cuban exception. Apparently GOP did well with Puerto Ricans in Osceola County.
what the fuck Florida? As Counties Place Polls In Gated Communities, Florida Voters Are Left Out http://www.wlrn.org/post/counties-place-polls-gated-communities-florida-voters-are-left-out When Katherine Polizzi showed up to vote at Le Club Century Village, all she wanted to do was cast her ballot. But she describes a confrontational and unnecessary scene that mirrors complaints about the precinct received by the Broward Supervisor of Elections Office during the primary election on August 28th. This year the precinct was moved to a building inside a private gated community in Deerfield Beach. Previously it was housed at a community center, says Polizzi. "To even get in to the gate you needed to show an ID, before you even got to the polling place itself," Polizzi says. After voicing her concerns that the complex was being used as a public polling station, private security workers told her "too bad," she added. Likewise, in Pasco County, a voter complained that visitors were made to state their reason for visiting the Groves Community Development District before they were granted access. The complaint alleges a woman with a thick Spanish accent was initially turned away when she stated she was there for voting -- the security apparently mistook it for "boating." She was later allowed to enter. The Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office told WLRN the issue was settled early in the day, and the gate has been opened wide.
In a shitload of bad news hitting us every GOD DAMN MINUTE, its nice to see that it was not some creep hitting on her, but was in-fact a nice moment between a daughter and father.
I know I am being unrealistic and asking too much, but if we ever needed this guy to step up and build a centrist republican coalition that provides a Senatorial check on the President...it is now.
that’s my district. such a ridiculous drawing. covers south east charlotte and stretches straight down the state line to fayetteville which is no where near charlotte
Read the thread but not fulling grasping how they legislatively can “take his power”. Is this just a promise not to work with him if they find he’s exercising an agenda of the people who elected him?
If Mueller is flat out fired and the admin seeks to seal the investigation to date AND congress does nothing, I have to think it will incite violence.
Burn that motherfucker down like Sherman* *Sorry non-POS Georgia friends for that semi-POS reference.
Don Jr was about to get indicted. Mueller has to run indictments by the AG. Don Jr ain’t getting indicted anymore. I think the investigation is now dead for all intents and purposes.
