You're missing my point. I'm a Bernie guy, I like his policy, I just want him to give it a rest and endorse a younger candidate with similar or equal views.
Again, the only "young" person who may even been running is Pete. Who else is there? You're acting as if there's a slew of young candidates in the field. There aren't any good progressive candidates besides Warren and Bernie and the latter seems to be making the most connection with young people, I fail to see why age matters unless the nominee is someone as senile as Trump.
I also think that any GOP congressman who opposes Trump with any amount of political savvy sees that 90% GOP approval of Trump, shakes his head, keeps his head down and just hopes 2020 either goes Democrat or that Trump goes down to Mueller. Going against trump is political suicide for any GOPer atm IMO
Wut? A lot of the D candidates are young. Booker is 49, and a lot of the rest of the field are in their 50s. Biden, Sanders, Warren, and Brown are the olds. (Warren is currently my candidate of choice)
Kind of. I think Cali does 2 hours, which I think would work if somewhere has early voting. If it's day of, that might be tougher as you might need more time, but it helps in areas that dont have early voting. But I guess half day would work. a 1/2 day once every 2 years shouldn't be a big deal for companies
You fail to see why age matters when a person is already in their 70s and is interviewing for the most important job in the country which will require either 4 or 8 years of service? Really? Especially after we’ve now had two septuagenarian presidents since the 1980s who were either senile (Trump) or straight up riddled with Alzheimer’s (Reagan) while in office? Bernie may be sane now, but if his faculties start to go (as everyone’s do at a certain age), do you really think he’d step down? Or do you think it’s more likely he does what every old person does when you ask them to stop driving, which is put up a fight and refuse to give up the keys?
I like Bernie's policies, I don't like Bernie as the messenger. Warren works. Someone younger would be cool. That's all I'm trying to convey. I'm voting for whatever D gets the nod. I hope it's my guy but I doubt it, so I'd look to who Bernie endorses after that.
It’s bullshit though. If McConnell wanted to rally the party to oppose Trump, he could. He won’t though, because modern republicanism is the craving for a strong daddy to tell your opposition that they don’t matter.
Many other republican senators would do the same as McConnell, none of the other republican 2016 candidates would do those things that Trump did (or attempted to do). That’s the differentiator I was getting at. Everyone agrees that the GOP is largely complicit in this whole shitshow.
ARENT YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE AOC SOCIALIST TAKEOVER - faux conservatives and trump base. No, you traitorous cucks. Far more concerned about the deep depths of hypocrisy in your shitty party. Yuck.
Lost in all of the "every president has dealt with critical satire" responses is the fact that this particular president is also a piece of shit traitor.
And for everyone calling McCabe a liar, he made fucking notes in real-time. Mueller has those notes. Comey made notes. I imagine everyone made fucking notes.
The post Reagan GOP has completely destroyed the middle class and America. All are traitors and should be hung
one of my high school history teachers loved that joke. we covered the civil war and reconstruction in his class and whenever someone would say "he was hung" in reference to a lynching he would correct them with a stupid grin on his face and say "hanged"
Ran a campaign full of sexual harassment, did terrible wiith Blacks, helped undermine the nominee, soft on Russia. 80. Yes just what we Democrat’s need for the run up to 2020.
maybe we should let the people who vote in the primaries decide who the nominee is going to be instead of pre-deciding based on some bullshit "common sense" ideas about electability
Imagine openly bragging about genocide. Because that’s what that sign amounts to. But don’t get mad about the redskins and chief wahoo, blah blah blah despite the fact that natives, who now comprise like 1% of our population at best, still manage to be the worst, per capita, In basically any figure we can pull up. Really cool stuff.
"he talked about his electoral win in North Carolina, I told him I didn't vote for him, and that was the end of the interview."
Wow Andy, how noble. Impending constitutional crisis and you’re privy to intelligence showing the Russians are working to elect a guy that they’ve compromised and you decide not to vote against him?
