This is where I want to comment “So now the Trump team is moving the goalposts to try to make people think election interference by foreign governments isn’t a big deal by openly admitting and calling for it in press interviews” but in reality it’s just Trump’s brain turning to mush and saying the quiet parts loud. Regardless of Trump's intent, when we get the inevitable tepid Democrat response followed by wanting to talk about business as usual, it will have effectively normalized the behavior. It's been the same story throughout his presidency
