This IG testimony seems pretty bad for the dems - in that it will feed the GOP narrative that the FISA warrant on Page probably shouldnt have been issued. They'll ignore the caveat that the IG found no political bias as the motivation for it. However,that's really a nuanced position for the Dems to argue.
I also look forward to Lindsey bitching how awful this is and how terrible the government is for violating American's civil liberties... ignoring he's one of the biggest and staunchest advocates for The Patriot Act.

Hot take: The Dem candidate who is in the general needs to ask for the vote for 2 terms, not just 1, upfront. It needs to be explicitly stated they also are asking for down-ballot Dem votes for the next 8 years as well, with the understanding there is a lot to fix and progress needs to be made. Bold and unconventional, but expectations need to be set, rather than again fighting battles every election cycle.
Trump is underwater 51-41% with independents in Texas right now. For comparison he was positive 55-35% in October 2017.
