I'm confused. He condemns China for land grabs, how they handled the Virus, and shady companies but says HK will not get any more special treatment, which is basically what China wants?

That and if he's really gonna pull out of the WHO and whatever other organizations and hate the UN he's actively helping China perform de facto land grabs of smaller countries. They won't be China in name on the map but if they are the super power with the most influence over them that's certainly not ideal for US interests.
