Chile is really busy today so I am starting this but don't have the amount of news he usually does so post what you got here.

One thing we were discussing, do you guys think we should have a daily news thread or just add stuff in it's respective thread, so all EPL news will go there, etc.

    PL:
To no surprise Paul Hart may only have two games left leading Pompey.
ESPNsoccernet has learned that David O'Leary and Glenn Hoddle are the big names to be linked to the managerial job at Portsmouth.

    Spain:

Real Madrid's Ruud van Nistelrooy will miss up to 6 weeks due to another injury

    Italy:
Ronaldinho has denied speculation that he is considering retiring from football at the end of the season

The Sun says City are furious with Wiley for shooing away boss Mark Hughes when he questioned where all the added time had come from. Then Wiley stood laughing with United boss Alex Ferguson after Michael Owen's 96th-minute winner.

    Fergie time = :jimhusker:

not really important but kind of funny.

Referee Massimo Busacca has been suspended three Swiss league games after making an obscene hand gesture to fans during a match. The best part was which team it was. He was caught gesturing to fans of Young Boys :powe: :powe: :powe: during the match last Saturday

    From yahoo:

    Maradona got earrings confiscated.

Tax authorities visited the Argentina coach at an Alpine resort on Friday and took away a pair of earrings as part payment of the former Napoli star’s unpaid tax bill.

The Bolzano Provincial Tax Police said Maradona handed over the pair of earrings, worth $5,900. The Italian news agency ANSA said the tax bill stands at about $54 million.

    - Mark Hughes is adamant Craig Bellamy did not create a confrontation with a Manchester United fan at Old Trafford on Sunday. The FA are still deciding whether to bring any action against Bellamy for what appeared to be a shove in the face of a supporter, who had gone onto the pitch shortly after Michael Owen had scored in stoppage time. "All Craig has done is go over there and tell the guy to get off the pitch," said Hughes.

    - FIFA will not pursue an investigation into Manchester United's capture of teenager Michele Fornasier from Fiorentina, the world governing body have confirmed. Fiorentina made a formal complaint to FIFA after the 16-year-old moved to Old Trafford over the summer. United made their move as Fornasier was too young to be tied to a professional contract with the Viola under Italian rules

I wanna reiterate what was posted in the OP.

Do you guys like the Daily News Thread or not?? Since we have the individual threads for the big leagues then some of these news could go there and not have this thread anymore. Of course, big news would have their own threads if they are warranted (like Drogba being a beast and not being injured).

Or we could keep the Daily News Thread and then yous have discussions, flames, highlights, etc on the League threads.
