sounds like they tried to give him the chance to retire but he refused so they fired him. absolutely necessary but still pleasantly surprised bubba had the balls to do it.
I’m no friend to your program but having gone through the experience of allowing an entitled elderly person whose only concern is retiring on their own terms get away with it to the detriment of the program TWICE, I couldn’t be more pleased with UNC doing what’s best for the program rather than caring more about the ego of a man with a net worth in the tens of millions.
package (no idea if he still is credible i know he used to be) said roberts is the one who pushed this mostly and sorry about the academic downsides to the alums here but i only care about the sports aspect so fuck yeah great hire
for a second straight night…there is literally zero reason withers should play again tonight. atrocious rotations
and RJ being invisible to a negative every time we play long and active defenses is getting really old
I’m visiting the fine state of North Carolina, currently in Cary. Can I get some food recommendations for lunch and dinner. I’m in NC for the rest of the week so the more recommendations the better. Also movie theaters and kids/family entertainment places are welcomed. thanks in advance.
Yeah, got in last night after a 10 hour drive. We’re going to a park now with the kids. checking out Sunday from the air bnb
does it need to be kid friendly (and if so, how old are the kids)? where are you staying in Cary? Any cuisines to stay away from?
6 and 10 and I would avoid white cloth type spots because of the kids. Downtown Cary and we’re open to pretty much anything
Cary is a surprisingly diverse area (and bigger than you're probably thinking, inching closer to 200k people now) so most of my casual recs will reflect that Bosphorus (Turkish) Taipei 101 (Taiwanese) Chengdu 7 (szechuan) Biryani Maxx (Indian, speciality is in the name) Himalayan Nepali Cuisine Kashin (Japanese) Noodle Blvd (Ramen) Thai Villa Sassool (Lebanese) All of those will be close to you and not fancy in any way. If you want something more traditional, Spirits Pub will be close, good bar and grill type food. You probably don't want pizza but there's a DiFara (of Brooklyn origin) downtown. Corbett's is a cool old school style burger place. As for things to do with kids, the brand new Cary DT park is right there, really nice and adults can get beers. Phillips Farm will be a short drive but has stuff for the kids and the best Texas-style BBQ in that part of the county called Dampf. It's a pretty green area so lots of parks, etc. All of the museums in Raleigh are nice and mostly free with kid stuff to do. If you're interested in going to Raleigh proper, the NC State area wouldn't be far from you. Player's Retreat and Mitch's Tavern are both State institutions and right on Hillsborough (Bull Durham's bar scenes were filmed at Mitch's). I can obviously provide more direction if you decide to head that way.
Not a great start, but at least we're taking shots from 3 ft and in. Eventually one will have to go in by accident.
no pride or effort whatsoever outside of drake and seth val should be on the bench for a while for that halfass effort on the loose ball this sucks
even Seth was giving shit effort, saw Hubert getting after him about it shortly before this extended absence
Remember when Roy used to send in blue steel? I wonder if Hubert has thought about letting the bench play the whole game while these other bums give their shit ass effort from the bench
shameful that the two freshmen are having to carry a bunch of upperclassmen fuck it put james brown in
