Switched to a 4141 with Pulisic on the left and Dembele on the right. BVB look wayyy more dangerous now.
Hasn't seen much of the ball, but hasn't made any big mistakes, which isn't something you can say for many on Dortmund right now, with how bad they've played this half
He's playing with more room to operate now that he's playing as a winger and not playing in the rwb role imo. Dembele, like most of the team today, has been hot garbage. No clue why he keeps trying to play in the middle of the pitch, even when he was put out wide when bvb switched back to a 4141, when he's way more effective getting the ball from wide and cutting inside instead of starting from inside and clogging the field.
Oh for sure. They've looked much better offensively since the switch as a team as well. Dembele has given the ball away 5-6 times, at least twice on stupid back heel passes alone
They're back to a 352, but they've scored and Pulisic has been effective as a rwb this time. They're actually trying to play from the right side this time and Dembele isn't playing as close to Pulisic this time and occupying his space.
Wish he could have broke through at bayern this year, but if going to Stuttgart means he'll play then so be it.
Just hope he actually gets time instead of the pine he rode in Hamburger (and then Hamburger Reserves).
They have more incentive to play someone they bought rather than a loan player. Also, hopefully the Hamburg debacle taught Julian a lesson
For those thinking of coming to Chatt to see them (I will be there) Chattanooga Brewing Company and Southside Social are across from Finley Stadium and would be great for pregame and postgame festivities. TBones is also nearby, but probably not what this crowd is looking for. The other good food and bars are downtown and off of East Main Street (14th Street). Tickets go on sale Jan. 6.
Haji Wright training with Schalke's 1st team during their winter camp. This is what Pulisic used last year to break into BVB's 1st team. Schalke has struggled to get goals from their attacking players this season. So, Haji might have a chance to get some time during the 2nd half of the season.
I think Rongen's main job will just be to identify potential dual nats like he did with John Brooks, Mix, etc.

Still a couple ughs like Wondo and Evans. That's a shitload of CM's. Manneh doesn’t have his citizenship yet, so won't be able to play in the friendlies. But good to let him know we're interested.
can somebody just Nancy Kerrigan Wondo already? Hopefully its for moral support and an 'extra coach' in practices, but if that old asshole gets a single minute in a critical game I'm going to lose my shit
