im finally getting back into being able to play video games semi regularly (stopped after baby was born), so I’m going through popular older titles right now. Just finished Last Of Us, Skyrim, and Doom (2016).

Current options are: Diablo 3, Mass Effect: Andromeda, or Witcher 3.

Loving the new God of War if you're looking for a good story driven game. I had only played one previously and I just redboxed it and played it over a weekend so I watched a story recap to get caught up as this one is completely different story wise.

Yes but stick with it because the reward is beyond worth it.

If you are the type to be able ot play two games at once, Diablo 3 is the type you can play a chunk at a time when taking a break from Witcher.
I am completely overwhelmed by Witcher, I started it months ago on PC and haven't gone back yet, but I really want to. Either way you are in for a great ride.

Yea my biggest issue is that I play video games like 30 minutes to an hour at a time. Hard to get into a rhythm with most games.

man i know that feeling, i'm lucky to get 30 minutes, definitely makes it tough on the experience and getting comfortable with a game.

Super Mega Baseball 2 could be an option for your timeframes. Games are about 25 minutes, so you could essentially play 1 game at a time.

Of the ones you listed, Witcher 3 is definitely the way to go though.

I also had Uncharted there to play, but I’ve never played any of the others and got the sense it was like a Tomb Raider/Assassin’s Creed style puzzle solver with a bunch of jumping and hanging on shit. I’ve never been really into those though.

I got a bunch of games from a buddy that he had already beaten. Basically I bought my PS4 and he handed me like 10 games.

It’s a bit more than that. Some run-n-gun, some stealth segments, some rail segments... it’s nice variety but plays like a big budget action film.

Got the first 3 Uncharted games on a single disk when I bought my PS4 and have never even opened it. Thinking coronavirus social distancing spring break is a good opportunity to do so. I'll probably only play one of them though so I'd love some input on which one I play. Am I wrong to presume the third is the best??

The second one was widely considered one of the better games of the last generation. 3 is also highly acclaimed tho. If you start with one it may throw you for a loop tho because it’s about 77 notches below the other two quality wise. Can’t really recall how important it is in the broad scheme of things but I’m pretty sure it was minimal

I thought I remembered it being a huge success. Will give it a try for sure. Thank you for the input.

    Finished Spider-Man.

    Now back to the search.
    Uncharted 4?
    Fallout 4?
Diablo 3 (is this a mostly online multiplayer thing, or is there a worthwhile campaign)? Control?

I could also play Bloodborne. Seems like a great and difficult game, but I’m guessing it’s a huge time commitment for someone who tends to be a completionist?

Don't bother with diablo 3 if you aren't into the multi-player or grind part of it. Not worth it for just a story imo unless you were a big fan of the series.

Stuck on the new Doom right now. I like it because it’s basically a hard arcade style game. You have to know how to run around and get health and ammo while dealing with an onslaught of enemies. Good soundtrack and lots of fun killing demons as well

This is my feeling on the most recent Devil May Cry. I’ve always loved this series for some no brain, button smashing gaming.

Fallout 4 was good, but its the only game in the series I haven’t replayed or continued after I completed the story. Not sure what it was about it, but I lost interest.

Never played that series. Always heard it was cool. Doom is hard as shit. Each encounter is a bitch with limited ammo and health and you have to run and use the map
In between arenas you have awkward jump puzzles. All fun as fuck though just non-stop
    Intense arcade style action
