I feel like this is the comfort blanket album of a lot of us
I love Tool's take on this song too
Also, I'm quite certain, after hearing live versions of this, that my favorite Volta era adopted a lot of the No Quarter jam in their Cicatriz
Really wish this band would've made it
I've got a cd titled "5 stars," that includes some of my favorite recent songs on it, and the opening song of that album just came on
another Volta song just came on fwiw, so I'll spare you this time
cannot telll a lie I'm having a blast though
fun night, best Portugal again
Cannot be happier he's nuclear exploded
Jeebus Portugal give it a rest already
I find this album appealing to practice drumming to, take that fwiw
I hate you country pop, be cool like this song posted above, nerds
(this whole album really)
As he went so went my Volta listening. My favorite drummer. He tied it all together.
Speaking of drums, was also at Tool in 07. Jambi opening feeling Danny's bass' in your chest. Can't believe it's been 10 years since they put an album out.
hans zimmer pandora station. pretty damn good for working
the best song of 2016
and arguably the greatest song in the history of music when it comes to just chilling in bed with a book while super stoned
another incredible song to read to while in bed
I'll be chill tonight I promise
(or will I )
no I really will
Saw these guys a few weeks ago, was a blast, naturally. Annoying story though, there are two venues in the area with the same name, and when I bought the ticket online, it said the show was specifically at one of the two. Night of the show I go to will call, dude's all like, "Na man your name's not here." I'm all like, "But please kind sir, I clearly bought this ticket weeks ago, here look at this email on my phone." Dude's all like, "Dude they're playing at the other venue." I'm all like, "Nooo waaayyyy." Everyone else in line is all like, "We've all done this before, don't feel bad." So I smiled and made some charming remark to relieve the tension before scooting a few miles out of the way, and I got to the place just as the opening act was closing up.
In closing, hurry up and make another album please
Ohhh Nate, you make everything sound so sweet
I think they're Canadian, not that there's anything wrong with that
they're fuckin men, man
It's like Smashing Pumpkins meets Radiohead, probably
so gawd daim tight, and I don't even mean that in the 1997/ Big 12 thread vernacular style
also why the Soon ending gotta be so beautiful, and why I gotta ask rhetorical questions, I dunno man, tight
I said I'd be chill, but the closer I get to sleep, the less I feel like keeping that promise
they unfortunately didn't play this song when I mistakenly went to the wrong venue for this show as explained earlier itt (in this thread), however, they did play some sweet ass jam while screaming the title of this song, it was sweet as fuck
Sexy Chill Jazz
Have it on good authority that would've been the next TLC album title
awesome song, fave off that album
Sucks they never played it live
Anything RTJ or Killer Mike will get a like from me
The Cars. Candy-O
