There’s a scene later in the trailer where she looks gorgeous. I think there may be a transformation faze wrt her
Yeah her face is all fucked up in the beginning of the trailer. Then you see her screaming in some ritual and boom.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.th...c-star-mya-lecia-naylor-dies-suddenly-aged-16 Yeah, it’s pretty awful. So we’re the people who were okay with it when they cast a white girl. I think I saw a comment that was something like “okay, it’s sad and all that that girl died, but this actress looks like a better Ciri”.
Yen looked a lot better once she was done up later in the trailer, but I agree it isn’t a great casting at first glance.
Very much so. I fell asleep reading it on a plane and have the hardest time sleeping on planes. It’s a seriously difficult book to stay engrossed in.
He’s the GFs favorite actor. Which lets me play the game when she’s around. Took a break to run through breath of the Wild. Coming back to this gameplay takes adjusting but story keeps goin strong. Fighting as Ciri > Geralt
I found myself using the same like five or six potions all the time, and totally ignoring the others for the most part.
Thunderbolt is the best potion, but all of them have uses. Halfway through the game I got really into the role playing part of it and spent hours upgrading all my potions and oils so I could always have the optimum load out for whatever I was fighting.
I kept having to use the cat potion in the cave with Keira until I realized I needed to change the HDR settings on my tv
Yeah, Ive almost completely neglected alchemy and crafting. Just seems too daunting. I dont know what crafting items i need to keep our sell I have tons of stuff.
It takes a bit of time to get used to it. Definitely use the bestiary for what you’ll need for each monster, then identify other potions you’ll want for general use.
Really enjoying that one. Although the Return to Crookback Bog I was expecting tougher. Just a bunch of nekkers/mud itches and then everyone gets super serious and a gigantic tree-deer-lion runs in all scary... and a few bombs I threw wrecked his world and he may have gotten stuck between two stationary objects 1/10 his size. Jenny of the Woods on the other hand. Fuck that cunt. Was close to giving up on her and coming back Later after ~10 attempts and not getting her past 1/2 health. Not sure if I’m just not doing the named wraiths correctly... specter oil. Thunderbolt + swallow as needed. When she gets close: yrden > moondust > attacc. Pop Quen when I think to. Wtf exactly does Yrden do in this scenario. Sometimes I feel like the answer is notafuckinthing. Been putting off the titty witch quest to go look at mice in a tower with a magic lamp. It sounds lame... level 6. Rest of my side hustle is lvl 11+ and next main quest takes me to skillege and I’m holding off on that til I get this rest done
You know it’s gonna be creepy af when a bunch of little orphaned shits are hanging out in a swamp wanting to play hide and seek
Yrden keeps specters from turning ethereal or whatever when they're in the circle, gives you a damage buff when you hit them inside it.
I'm pleased with this as long as it doesn't lead them into the same trap as EA and Bethesda of rushing to meet deadlines. Hope they continue to put players first.
Welp, just finished the main storyline. I purposely fucked up the romance with Triss once I found out her and Geralt's backstory and didn't realize until too late I had already messed up the romance with Yen. So I ended up with no one. Anyway Ciri wound up coming back to be a Witcher. Really enjoyed it overall. The side quests were probably the quite diversified compared to other games Ive played. I realize this game is 4 or 5 years old but the the horse controls were infuriating at times. And there were more bugs than I expected. I leveled up quick once all the final events started kicking in, so I was lvl 32 or so going into the final bosses. They seemed relatively easy. Got pretty good at Gwent, had all the Hero cards but was getting annihilated at the Gwent tournament. Just started the Heart of Stone DLC and the Frog Prince is no joke. Even the normal enemies are 30+
