Not to me. They all branch out enough for me on the second word where it doesn't bother me. Once I get the first word down, I just go with wherever my mind takes me. My second guesses will usually be completely different even in the cases where I have the same clues available to me after the first guess (ie yesterday and today when all I knew was that there was an 'a' in the wrong spot).

What's your gameplay on Quordle? I always lay down my usual 4 words with 20 different letters and go from there. Quite happy to keep getting boring 5678 games to keep the streak going.
(I’m not who you asked but I’ll answer for me.) I have three set words with 15 letters and 90% of the time play all three and go for 4567. Sometimes if I get enough with the first two I’ll shoot for the famed 3456 but I’ve only hit it once. Most of the time I need an extra one or two letters somewhere and hit 4678 or 4689. In the end, completion percentage is what matters most to me. If you can see a word after your first three do you still play the fourth?

Really fucked up this morning and almost cost myself my unbeaten streak. 2 buddies posted their results in groupme before I did mine. As I sat down on the toilet I checked the group and saw that. Unfortunately spoiled myself partly because my one buddy always opens with "PENIS" and I saw he got a letter correct. But mistakenly, still half asleep, I thought his S was yellow, not green. So my first 4 guesses were trying to put the S in other spots. Got lucky that they accepted "LOBUS" as a total BS 5th guess and was able to get FOCUS on 6. What a disaster.

I start with Stare-Lucid then start solving. It’s put me in some tough spots, but I get a lot of 7’s, have one 6, and have just barely missed on 6 a few times. If I don’t see a fairly high confidence solve on try three, I’ll take a flyer on the space with the fewest yellows then proceed.
A few times I've skipped the 4th word (DUMPY) but then come back to it on my 5th go if I haven't been satisfied with the progression on most words. My one 4567 would be the time I didn't end up needing it, but I'm all about playing it safe and protecting the streak. It works too - I've only bombed once in my last 40+ Quordles and that was a practice game.
And I got another 3 on Wordle (4th straight?) and finally cracked my 1 cherry on Worldle - not getting too carried away as it was pretty easy...
I stuck at worldle so I wait to hear from this thread that it was easy and then try. (Got today’s in one.)
