Gallywix = formally largest boosting community in wow. Sold services such as M+ runs (I boosted a few of these), heroic/mythic raids, horrific visions, pvp rating, etc for gold. Supposedly they handled $1.2billion in gold in April 2020. I guess one or several of the people who are part of Gallywix management got caught selling gold and there was a Blizzard forum post basically saying don’t work with Gallywix. Now the discord, Twitter, etc are gone.
ah so they were able to offer those services as long as they weren't selling the gold for real $$, and then it came out that they were so it ended up violating blizz TOS?
Yes, 100% OK as long as it is strictly service-for-gold. As soon as real money is directly exchanged, it's bannable. Of course the one exception is buying WoW Tokens with real money from Blizzard.
Really looking forward to the prepatch. How did the Long Boi come along, Name P. Redacted ? Been doing +15 Key Carries on stream with some buddies to pass the time before Shadowlands. Good networking opportunity for M+ next season. Going to try for 4k io.
I got the longboi about 4-5 weeks ago then promptly lost all interest in BFA lmao M+ boosts are good money if you can get the runs in. one of the guys i do keys with sells jaina runs and makes a lot off that
We’ve just been doing them for free to promote his stream. Helping out the community to get the Keystone Master before patch. Really cool to see where it’s gone. He was averaging 20 or so viewers and I think we topped out last week with over 100. The Keystone Master Mount for Season 1 in Shadowlands looks amazing!
i resubbed in preparation for Shadowlands. Can't decide if I want to go with my alliance druid (OG 2004) or my horde rogue. May read up on class changes and see. Usually just go with my druid for nostalgia reasons. I mained disc priest in WoD and Legion.
i'd prob resub but my laptop gets ridiculously hot whenever i play wow so ;( and that's no fun when you sit in a lazyboy when you play
rip to ur sperm depends on what content and roles you wanna do resto druid looks like it will be extremely strong in mythic+ again, not as strong in raids guardian druid was buffed recently and the impression i've seen is that it's in a good spot. feral druid...idk spec has never interested me and will probably remain underwhelming like it was in bfa. why not just play a rogue if you're going feral moonkin druid got buffed from bfa (to dogshit to good) and will likely be good dps and i think its AOE is uncapped which will be important for mythic+
It’s looking like ranged specs are really shining right now. If you want to play melee, Rogue is going to be a great pick. Strong in PvP, Subtlety is preforming in a top spot in Raid and their Cloak of Shadows is going to be desirable in Mythic + again now that the obelisks are gone and mobs will need to be skipped.
The new Bear Legendary is insane. Watching a bear use that, pop Incarn and Thrash is wild. They are basically invincible for their Incarn duration.
Try a warrior. Can’t kite well, can only fight one mob at a time, and have to eat and bandage after every mob.
true. I know what’ll happen though. I’ll spend months getting to 60, then have nothing to do as LFR is the only way I see raid content these days. Hard to dedicate uninterrupted time due to the kiddos
There are actually a lot of pug raids, basically LFR without the in game feature. Due to various reasons, the raids in classic are much easier then they were in vanilla.
Almost certain I’m making the switch from Hunter to Druid as my main. I hate that all my achievements are on the Hunter, though. I can get into more groups as Heals / Tank and I like Feral PvP more than Hunter PvP. Wish I would have had time in Legion to get the Druid Mage Tower stuff done. Came in right and the end and only had my Hunter at the time.
So, PvP scaling is gone. Hunter was absolutely pumping in the BGs last night. Almost hit 300k damage in one of them and was consistently over 250k damage and top DPS. Was awesome that my pets did something.
I don’t understand the amount of people on Reddit who defended pvp scaling or that gear shouldn’t matter as much as skill like you’re playing a fucking RPG, the whole point is to make your character as powerful as possible.
Definitely gonna get back into it for shadowlands, is there anything I need to resub now or before launch to complete to get into it?
if you already have a level 50 (formerly 120) then there's not a lot of do. Whenever the pre-patch event starts that would likely be worth logging on for.
i would say resub now if you want to level alts before the new content releases. Other than that, you can LFR the BFA raids to see them.
Finally got the Underrot Crawg Harness yesterday. Been farming these mounts all expansion. Still have King’s Rest, Mechagon, and Freehold to pick up as well.
Got to 60 early this morning. I’ve seen Stylee grinding it away gotta get to work on the covenant stuff
Damn. Did WoW really release another expansion? This game is almost there judging by the fact that I did not know about it or hear about it...
Is it free to play? Wonder if I have enough gold to check it out. Fuck it who am I kidding it's still the same game, isn't it?
