Good way to cut weight
Is that Twitter account legit?
Not to go full conspiracy, but any chance the results were tainted?
Just seems fishy imo
The cocaine/Fix shit isn't verified but what seems fishy?
Mainly a joke but 2 US guys getting popped at the same international tournament seems weird
Well if it’s coke he’s def out. So dumb.
If it is, may be the last time he ever wrestles. What's the point of waiting 2-4 years to compete in a sport that doesn't have a ton of money to being with.
I feel like Zahid was set up to make some decent money like some of the elites have.
Idk but it broke the zahid drug test first
is Pat Mineo suddenly a top source on WADA testing or something?
Someone needs to pay Willie to get the "real" story
just quoting so i can read the tweets
ASU loses to Lehigh 19-14, all down to Zahid getting suspended. At least Teemer and Norfleet are looking good I guess
Holy shit...Iowa is putting on a clinic against Oklahoma State. 2 falls and 2 majors in the first four matches. Lugo made real quick work of Lewallen.
And then young fucking chokes
John Smith looking
Amos completed his high school wrestling career at 142-0. Outside of WV being unimpressive at wrestling for a state, I'm excited to see what he can do at Wisconsin.
142-0 in WV--he's obviously a stud but he has lost a handful of matches in national tournaments. Jacob Cardenas at Cadet Team Trials and Peter Christensen at fargo off the top of my head
Meredith over McKee
Not the only one with Big10's on the computer and Arsenal on the TV here I see.
Also, it's official, Zahid is done. Greatest in ASU history ends his career on a recreational drug suspension.
Heinselman sucks. Pinned in the 2nd period.
lol rocky jordan and abe assad tied 0-0 going into 2nd, rocky almost took him down as 1st round ended.
Rocky chooses to go down to start the second.
He gives up 4NF, gets a stall called on him, and gets ridden out.
It's a good thing we pulled Jordan Decatur's redshirt so he could go 0-2 at big tens as the 14 seed
Completely give up on Malik and refuse to watch him and he pins McKee
lol he just beat the #3 and #4 seeds back to back to qualify for NCAAs.
He probably had to.
What an asshole.
Has Lee had that gigantic thing on his leg all season?
Rivera-Gross was amazing
Pretty game effort by Chad, Lee was just too much on top for too long
-Two different 2-time NCAA champs and one 1-time NCAA champ will be going for their first big ten titles
-7/10 of the matches will decide the NCAA 1 seed
-6 of those 7 matches should be between the 1 and 2 seeds at NCAAs (assuming parris and gable both win their semis)
Who's the 1 time champ?
I was thinking gross was in the finals for some reason.
Hall has won both titles.
Really nice win for Kaleb Romero over Devin Skatzka.
Maybe he can avoid Hall/Kemerer in the quarters if he beats Lydy for 3rd.
ohhhhhhh noooooo ridge lovett puts joey silva on his back with 1 second left in the match to win.
Silva needed to win to go to NCAAs. Lovett was probably already getting a wildcard regardless of the result.
Hate to see it.
125- Spencer Lee
157- Ryan Deakin
165- Alex Marinelli
174- Mark Hall
184- Aaron Brooks
197- Kollin Moore
HWT- Gable Steveson
God damn...Spencer is such a machine. How likely is he to make the Olympic team at 57kg?
I'm a little behind so I haven't seen any results yet. Going with:
not an expert but he finishes top 3 at the trials imo...him, fix, and Gilman
He's my pick, especially now with Daton looking like a major question to mark for trials. It comes down to Gilman, Spencer, Gross, and Suriano. Don't think Colon can hang.
there should be zero stall calls in this match.
BIG win by Luke Pletcher to grab the Big Ten title and #1 seed at NCAAs.
I said all along I thought Pletcher and Lee would go 2-1 against each other
Fuck that was so close
Sasso needs to let it rip a little earlier, damn near cost him in the quarters too. He’s better than Lugo I think, just plays for that tight finish too much
Don't think this is his year, but I feel really good about Sasso moving forward. Still think he's better than Lugo and will take Sasso in that matchup every time.
That was fun
They have never had a match disappoint, just a great stylistic matchup for the neutral
