AJ Ferrari having a normal one. Wins match, gets in confrontation with potential future teammate, gets DQ’ed.
Would the WWE even take an asshole like him? Penn State absolutely run this shit but congrats on stranglehold on the chuddiest sport in history.
Uninteresting update on the progress of the team I've coached the last 2 years. Spoiler We are now probably the 2nd best team in area. We still only have 11 varsity wrestlers, but have been getting a lot of compliments lately. They've gotten so much better. It's only the 2nd real year of the program existing, so things are looking up. Area Duals happen this weekend, and I think we end up getting 3rd because of all the points were giving up due to forfeits, but the season has been mostly a successful one so far. I've been pretty much the head coach, as I've ran all of the practices and do 95% of the coaching, but most decisions are made democratically between 3 coaches. Next year it's going to be less democratic, and I'm taking over more of the administrative stuff, but I won't substitute teach, and thus can't be the official "head coach." Part of me wants to sub just so I can get the credit outside of Trinity for the coaching I've done when we inevitably win state in a few years.
I wonder if Wyoming might move on from Mark Branch this offseason? Seems unlikely they could do better than the stretch he gave them a few years back with Meredith, but things are not going well in Laramie. 36-6 L to Northern Iowa and a 44-3 L to Nebraska. They were handled by Campbell and dominated by Missouri and OK St. This uncompetitive season on the heels of a year where they went 1-10 in duals. Been a ton of turnover on the roster too. Doesn't seem like the vibes have been good in that wrestling room for a few years now
It's gonna be fascinating to see what Hutmacher can do at the HWT position this year and how far he can go. Is there a complete stud that's head and shoulders better than all others in the country this year at that weight class? I know coming out of HS as far as a recruit went, the sky was the limit for him.
Oh shit that's right. Eric. Looked like a beast...would completely dominate at nationals until like the quarters then lay an egg against anyone of similar caliber.
Flo and intermat are pay sites and fuck paying for it when it’s a 1 team sport Might pay for Olympic trials just so it can crash
I get that they're talented, but that whole family can fuck right off. I hope they drive off a cliff like the O'Doyle's
And that was after he beat Ghasempour(former 92kg 2 time champ), might have basically decided Irans Olympic team member on his own
Honestly, he’d pretty clearly be an underdog against at least 3 dudes, assuming Sadulaev is healthy. He’s looking pretty cooked
So Manning said Hutmacher is wrestling at HWT tonight. Not sure who Iowa is putting out there but they could put out this kid named Ben Kueter. Hutmacher went 166-0 in HS and was the top ranked HWT recruit but chose football of course and was smart to do so. He's turned out to be pretty damn good. Will definitely play in the NFL. Only got back into wrestling this year and is 1-0. Kueter is a true freshman who went 111-0 in HS in Iowa and was the top HWT recruit and is also doing both football and wrestling for them. Problem is Kueter is a LB and probably ~240ish now whereas Hutmacher is 285 so IA probably won't put him out there. They'll probably put their normal HWT out there whose 8-3. Not bad but still...
