But really, there are like 2-3 things I "could've done" but I don't think there's a realistic scenario where I survive that encounter. The two survival options are 1. juke them out or 2. snipe them as they are driving like maniacs. The odds of one of those things happening is like .01% with two cars trying to run me over.
I'm playing Overwatch again. I love Moira. I can't get her healing numbers to the point where I'm solo healing with her but she is a great compliment to a main healer and can really punish a team thats not running Dva.
Annnnd there's more.... Super Vegeta, I'm curious what you think since you play Paladins more than anyone else I know. I still don't understand how the characters abilities will affect the loot, but I'm sure they will come up with something decent. So basically, once Blizzard does the Battle Royale game mode they'll takeover everything amirite?
I follow him also. Wish he would condense his videos to 10 minutes or less. Other than that, I think he makes great content
What would be the cost of buying a 'gaming' PC capable of playing games as well as or better than an Xbox1X? Honestly curious.
I mean, everything he says is true from what the issues are to how to fix them. Canceling Scalebound and Fable and having Crackdown sit on the shelf for so long isn't gonna help sell consoles when PlayStation and Nintendo continue to drop quality exclusives. Microsoft bigly fumbled the launch and has been trying to make up a perceived performance gap with the PlayStation while Sony has been distancing itself with content.
And I don't think he's saying that xbox is in danger of anything as far as future console sales are concerned, it's just the brand in general has become bland
Couple of thoughts here.. 1. Microsoft still hasnt recovered from e3 2013. Not sure what it would take to put them in the top spot again. Historically they're more than capable of being there but cancelling scalebound and releasing 8 forza games isnt the way to do it. 2. Fable is one of my favorite series of all time. No clue why people hated on it. Fable 4 seems to be alive again and I cant wait to play it....on PC. 3. Current version of crackdown 3 is far from the original crackdown 3 we saw. But hey, i liked crackdown and terry crews is great. Cant wait to play it....on PC. 4. State of decay 2 is the only game i care about thia year probably. Cant wait to play it....on PC. 5. They could really use another halo thats actually good. Big time streamers want it. Can you imagine halo battle royale? Id totally play that....on PC 6. Xbox play anywhere was a mistake
He like me was an Xbox guy last gen. We just decided that we weren't gonna let brand loyalty get in the way of buying the better product
I just want everyone to be putting out good games. Thats all. Except EA. Fuck them. And Konami, but that goes without saying
Microsoft should throw money at Bungie to get them back into the Halo franchise. idk the particulars wrt activision and Bungie but Destiny may very well be dying really quick and Bungie back into the halo franchise would be about as big a deal as you could imagine in gaming
Hmm...probably the fortnite thread. The bump when high thread, too. But thats probably it. Im also not being cunty tonight, just talking about the state of xbox. I'd like for them to put out good games but they arent. Thats not being cunty, thats making an observation. An accurate observation. When products I love go to shit I stop using and start complaining rather than packing up and moving to a world of delusion in which that product isnt so bad. Xbox is the worst of the big 3 consoles. Easily. No question. Last gen it was the best. Easily. No question. They misjudged the market and it cost them. PUBG has made a tremendous difference which is obvious if you look at console sales since then, but its late in the cycle. I 100% want them to put out about 10 exlusives this year that all end up with 95+ on metacritic. They're not doing anything immoral so i dont inherently want them to fail. They just are failing and its fun to talk shit. Until something changes xbox isnt a console for gamers, its a console for bros to play sports games and shooters together. And now i am being cunty.
So for someone who doesn't already have a PC...has a mac laptop instead...buying a new gaming PC would be more expensive than an Xbox1X.
there are dozens of youtube videos that say otherwise. most use a 1060 6gb. but there's the difference if you want to play games in 4k the 1x is the best value. if you want to play in 1080p, potato quality, and absurdly high frame rates spend 100 or 2 more to build the pc.
Moira is strong right now. Played her quite a few times where I have ended up with gold kills and healing. So easy to finish ppl off with well timed orbs
i need to figure out what the difference between 30fps and 60fps is. with the X some games have the option to run it at 30, with better graphics, or steady 60 with not as good graphics. also really want a gaming monitor thats HDR10.
My xbox one elite died after almost 2 years - I think the HD is dead. Went and got an X and PUBG. I played 6 or so matches last night and killed 1 person. It was great. That is just the kind of game I was looking for - can log in play for an hour or so and be done.
I paid about $900 for mine in July. I got a 500GB internal hard drive and a 120GB SSD for free, so that's another $120-150. Graphics card is a GTX 1060 3GB (which is sort of an older GPU, but it still cost something like ~$240), 16GB of DDR4-3k RAM. Graphics cards and RAM prices are super inflated right now due to bitcoin mining, so unless you wait until it dies out you're going to spend a little more, especially if you're going for 4K. Was running all games at 100+ fps once I got it going, but it's not worth pulling 100 frames if I don't have a monitor w/ a proper refresh rate to support those frames, so I bought a 144hz refresh rate monitor (about $250), and it is amazing. I can't even describe to you how much smoother playing on a PC is than a console. It's just buttery smooth fantasticness. Two nights ago I hopped on Rocket League on the XB1 and could clearly tell the difference. Going from that smooth shit back to 30fps feels like going back to a super nintendo, the choppyness threw me off for a while and I had to get used to it again. I still enjoy my xbox one because it can be useful for some things, but if you figure you're going to spend $1k or more on your xbox plus games and whatever else in the next year or two, imo you might as well invest in building a pc.
I don't doubt that a souped up PC is the best way to go if you're gonna get serious about it. But for somebody who just wants to play fortnite a couple nights a week, the x has been great. Plus, Santa delivered it to my son, so I'll take free over anything else.
It’s not very evident on video, but you can definitely tell when you play. If you have gears 4, run the campaign and then load up the multiplayer to see a big difference. The campaign runs at 30, while the multiplayer runs at much more smooth 60. Rocket league also runs at 60fps on Xbox 1, but it’s not a stable 60. It is on the X though.
im gonna have to try it in the witcher. its one that offers the 30fps further draw distance, or 60fps shorter.
It’s depends on the game. Usually all games will get an incremental bump looks wise on the S. If a game ran at 60fps 900p, it’d get something like an upscale to 60 1080p.
If you have halo 5, run some multiplayer. It’s 60fps and runs really well up close, but if you zoom out to someone running halfway across the map it actually looks like Mr. Game and Watch.
