So......is the world really going end over the Coke/losing Mountain Dew thing? My social media feeds are full of friends and family losing their shit.
Agreed, but to many, my wife included, Skyline is apparently synonymous with Mt. Dew. Or Diet Dew. She literally never orders it anywhere else, but it's the go-to at Skyline, and apparently for a lot of others, too. It's not so much the Coke/Pepsi thing so much as the loss of Dew. People are beside themselves about it.
Funny thing is Gold Star is switching to Coke too lol. I wonder if it’s going to be something similar to when Frisch's moved from Coke to Pepsi and like 5 days later they were bringing Coke back.
Could be. The nostalgic fit was similar there. Certain people have just always ordered MD at Skyline. Like I mentioned, it's literally the only time my wife drinks it, but it's all she orders there.
But really it is. I don’t like Mountain Dew but I feel like whenever I’m there with someone else they order Mountain Dew

I went back home and was looking forward to a 4way, cheese coney and a Mnt Dew. Only to find out NO MNT DEW. The dew was always so much better there.
After a couple of weeks of making fun of people for complaining about this, I drank a coke with a meal there and it just didn’t seem right. Not a Mountain Dew guy but that cheap pink lemonade hit well with it.
Realized I didn’t have spaghetti noodles as I was prepping for making skyline. Substituted orzo because I’m a fancy bitch. Not gonna lie, I liked it better.
