this implies that bad orange man would end genocide it also implies that anyone who puts other policies in the equation is pro genocide.
I will never tell members of a marginalized community I’m not part of how to feel. I would say that I whole heartedly believe their lives and the lives of people in Palestine will be worse under Trump. If they are okay with that then they should do whatever their conscience allows them to do.
Thats not even a debate. Bidens admin is at least actively working towards a peace agreement and paying for aid. Trump would be encouraging as much death as he could. And I don't think the US should be giving a single penny to Israel for anything before the dogpile happens.
Have you ever bought anything from Starbucks? I’m sorry to tell you but you’ve basically murdered 50 Palestinians with that transaction.
following the Panama election returns and the Far Right Candidate that skipped every debate and didn’t present any detailed policy is leading w every return so far. We export our stupidity
They shot a bunch of israelis that were held hostage and blamed it on them looking like civilians. Which should have been alarming.
Sounds ridiculous but it makes sense, somethings gotta power things at night. Overall the point was you need storage too- I thought a read a while back that conceivably you could turn a lake into a huge battery with excess solar, using the excess electric during the day to pump a fuck ton of water up a dam and than at night release it through the dam into a hydro electric plant to generate the power at night… or something to that effect. Wonder if we ever see something like that.
Right, but demand at night is also generally much less especially in the summer when things cool down. The storage technology has come a long way already, but no grid would ever be powered by too much solar for this reason.
Build a giant fan that faces a wind turbine. Use solar to wind it up during the day, then let it go at night so it blows on the wind turbine. Didn't any of these "engineers" ever play mouse trap?
One of the problems with using lakes like this is that most spots that are optimal for this are already is use as regular dams. They require a lot of space, and evaporation might be a (minor) issue. You can also do this with solids instead of water. Energy Vault (NRGV) is one company that touts using excess solar/wind energy to raise solid blocks to store potential energy and release it when needed. A couple years ago I invested a small amount in NRGV and watched it turn into an even smaller amount. Still like the idea, even if it isn't commercially viable (yet)
Cool that this dumb bitch is running the paper of record, or whatever Economy favorable to trump, solid framing you worthless fraud
