she looked good in Bring it On but was horrible as MJ. Her and Tobey had the chemistry of two wet bags of dogshit
Before Simon Kinberg and Josh Trank rewrote the screenplay, Jeremy Slater was hired by 20th Century Fox to dream up a new take on the franchise, though he's revealed in an interview with Screen Crushthat pretty much none of his ideas ended up making it into the version we got. Explaining that his version of Fantastic Fourfurther delved into the inner workings of the Baxter Foundation and the relationship between Reed and Victor, Slater says that the team would have encountered Annihilus (described as, "a pissed-off cybernetic T-Rex") in the Negative Zone and got hit by radiation giving them their powers. Victor meanwhile would have still been left behind, but he was going to kill Annihilus and use his cosmic control rod to create, "a sort of living body armor." That sounds pretty good, but there's where things get really exciting for fans of the superhero team. "In addition to Annihilus and the Negative Zone, we had Doctor Doom declaring war against the civilized world, the Mole Man unleashing a 60 foot genetically-engineered monster in downtown Manhattan, a commando raid on the Baxter Foundation, a Saving Private Ryan-style finale pitting our heroes against an army of Doombots in war-torn Latveria, and a post-credit teaser featuring Galactus and the Silver Surfer destroying an entire planet. We had monsters and aliens and Fantasticars and a cute spherical H.E.R.B.I.E. robot that was basically BB-8 two years before BB-8 ever existed. And if you think all of that sounds great...well, yeah, we did, too. The problem was, it would have also been massively, MASSIVELY expensive."
Interesting, in their animated series it's been fuck everything not in the MCU since season 2 of Ultimate Spider-Man. His episodes in EMH were my favorites. I wonder if they found an exception like they did with Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and reportedly the Skrulls.
I just know that James Gunn said that Fox owned the full rights to him. He seems like a character that could be shared though since he's a villain for the Avengers and F4. I'm guessing his connection to Reed Richards is what ties him solely to Fox/F4.
Fox only holds live action rights. Marvel can use any and all of their library in animation, but I think they're prohibited from releasing an animated movie with those characters in theaters.
With the way Hollywood tax write-offs work, who the fuck knows, but even the absolute stinkers at least re-coup their budget and marketing money back most of the time.
I haven't seen it but was pretty disappointed to hear he didn't have a cameo or mention or anything in apocalypse, what a waste.
https://www.yahoo.com/movies/the-ru...captain-marvel-in-infinity-war-164829403.html i thought you guys were just fucking with dump about this.
It's weird, he appears as an Egyptian Pharos in Fantastic Four 1st but as Kang the Conqueror his 1st appearance is Avengers.
squirrel girl would be a cute cameo. pretty sure infinity war is going to have an extinction level event that has a makeshift superhero base fighting thanos in 2 but fuck a feature film
I don't fuck around with comic books, comic book accessories and comic book adaptations Serious. Motherfucking. Business.
Just what we'd need: furries showing up to Marvel movies to masturbate in the theater when Rocket and Squirrel Girl are on screen together.
So Infinity War will no longer be split in 2 parts but will instead be a self contained film with Avengers 4 being a totally different story, did I just miss this news?
Russos said that Avengers 4 will be the end of everything that the MCU has built up to that point and will also be the beginning of the next part of the MCU. They wouldn't be filming them back-to-back if there wasn't any carry over. Someone after Thanos getting a hold of the Gauntlet kinda gives them an opportunity to reboot a lot of their stories. Vin Diesel also confirmed the Guardians will be in IW.

Is this part of the "moving as many of our characters into movies we own" plan by Marvel? MJ moved from Spidey to IM. Squirrel Girl isn't a mutant anymore.
