Star Wars a week was granted as must spoiler spoilers, but after that all bets are off. I'm watching it in the AM, so feel free to shout out.
This started filming today. Should be getting the official cast list next week. I hope they were able to get Kurt Russell for Star Lord's pop.
Well, find me a better pair of legs than those... I hope Captain makes love to her with the lights off.
Spoiler the whole breaking the 4th wall was just spectacular. Didn't pull any punches. The line about not being able to afford any more X-men was awesome
Loved it. Couldn't care less about sub-par reviews. In my book, they're wrong and don't understand what this was meant to be. So much justice.
Absolutely nailed it. And just....perfect post-credit scene. Spoiler Shooting the guy in the head during Colossus's monologue....the second cab scene....all dinosaurs fear the TRex....I was just rolling the whole movie
Just smiling and laughing from the moment it starts. Fight/action scenes are top notch. Spoiler The Hugh Jackman jokes were amazing, as well as Reynolds making fun of himself Negasonic and especially Colossus were great. I could listen to Deadpool going in on Negasonic all day
Promised a group of friends I would wait until tomorrow to see it but i was so tempted to see it tonight...can't wait! Been waiting for this movie for years!
Spoiler Yeah - it looks like Ajax owned a salvage company and they were scrapping one of the downed helicarriers from Winter Soldier. It only occurred to me later that those are two different franchises.
Just an awesome movie. As much as Robert Downey Jr is Tony Stark, Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool. Just perfect.
Fantastic start-to-finish. Wife even enjoyed it, though she said something about it slightly polluting her soul. I don't know, I was too busy jerking off in my seat. Spoiler I'd forgotten Ajax's nerve endings "power" going into the movie. So when they show DP run him through with the katana on the highway, and then occasionally throw things at him and inflict other pain, it becomes that much funnier that they don't do the cut-scene of him saying what his mutation is, until later. So you end up looking back at DP bouncing the hubcap off his head, knowing it doesn't really hurt him, as even funnier
This shit always pisses me off. I saw the remake of Evil Dead at an 11PM showing and some dumpster fire family brought their 3 kids all under the age of 10 to the theater.
My theater wouldn't let a couple bring their kids in but then we saw them sneak in at an entrance further down
this is akin to when I saw 300 and a guy brought his two kids and they were no older than 8. I am eagerly awaiting the DSM VI to see if anything is linked to quasimodo orgy fetishes
Ryan Reynolds Deadpool earned $12.7 million at 2,975 locations in Thursday night preview screenings in the United States. The box office haul makes Deadpool the record holder for the box office total for an R-rated film opening on Thursday night. Originally pegged for a $55+ million opening, Deadpool is now estimated to gross $70+ million over the 4-day President's Day weekend. Already off to an impressive international debut, Deadpool could be headed for a $125+ million opening (worldwide) from a modest production budget of just $58 million.
