Ok for us to converse with about politics? probably not. Anything else you were thinking bout doing will probably be fine though.
30+y/o Sunday -Cook Breakfast -Fix light switch -Replace overhead light cover -Upgrade Thermostat to programmable digital -Smoke meat -Drink beer -Watch football
ITT we learn that many TMB'ers have older wives. Was a bit surprised by that. Not 30 yet but closing in on it quick, 29 at the moment.
Fixed breakfast for kids Took family to St Aug for day Practiced soccer with oldest son Went for run Grilled steaks Drank beer Going to bed in half an hour cause I'm old and tired
So, I'll catch up since I've missed a few days of this: 35, wife is 38 No kids due to her having a broken vagina (not sure I would want them now, which will be a fight down the road when she brings up adoption) Did nothing today. Almost literally. Slept in until 11am, went to the store, watched football, loaded the dishwasher, going to bed now.
Currently writing essay for grad school admission into Columbia (2,500 word autobiographical...pain in the ass) No kids, about to give up a decent job to go back to school full-time. Hoping I can stay with my company and work remote in another role, however. That would be the ideal scenario. I'm determined that I'm going to go through with it regardless, however.
the school doesn't have a part time option? my buddy is going to law school part time while he helps run a business. seems pretty difficult to manage your time in that scenario, however.
I'm turning 35 tomorrow and I'll no longer be in the key 25-34 demographic Primetime TV no longer values my opinion
My 30th birthday was a blast. I feared it but it was actually fun. I was almost 21 wasted that night. The year was a solid one as far as being a single guy went as well.
I have a feeling that my wife/sisters/mom are going to throw a big part. I never like parties for me, but I think I'm okay with this one.
I had a big blowout at a bar. I was definitely cut off, which has happened only one other time than I can recall -- my 21st.
I'm going to go get my mind right at Wakarusa for the big 3-0. Figured I might as well enjoy it while I still can
My gf(wife now) threw me a party and had a bunch of my buddies from college come into town for it. It was a great time, but I had one buddy that stayed for a damn week. He was a house flipper at the time and didn't have a project going so he just stayed. I finally had to tell him to hit bricks because I had to go to get on the road for work. Cable bill came in later and that bastard had ordered like $100 worth of porn while he was there. Good times!
Same thing happened on my 21st and I imagine the same will happen this December. FUCK. That's right. Gonna have to ask them to push the party up a few days. I have a friend who stays with me often from Atlanta. Luckily, he has mastered the ways of iPhone porn. Phew!
I'll be 30 later this year, hard to believe my 20's is almost over. As you get older the world seems to slow down around you, little things don't bother me anymore. Not sure what I'll do for my 30th birthday, not a big drinker.
recently turned 38...decided for my 40th bday I'm going to learn how to play the bass and form a midlife crisis band
https://www.uber.com/# GOAT app for your iPhone or Droid. bar none. I'll never sit in a god damned Taxi again. VictorHobson I believe LA has this, so you should be all over it. It's awesome. DL app Open account. Attach credit card Done When you want a ride, just hit the button and your phones GPS tells the car service where you are. Same rates as Taxi, but 8 dollars tacked on for gratuity. Never wait more than 10 minutes. You get a towncar, escalade, or limo every time. Genius business model. It's just brilliant. It's so great that I'm not telling any of my friends about it, because I want it all to myself.
Had a group 30th birthday with my best friend growing up. My gf and his gf organized it, rented an old HS gym, ate BBQ and got fucked up with all our friends from hometown then started playing BBall- fucked up my knee and gave myself a concussion, shit was awesome!...but getting old
I just checked on the site for Uber and it's available in the following cities: Boston NYC Chicago LA San Fran Seattle Paris Philadelphia San Diego Vancouver BC DC
Probably that they don't have a lot of contracted drivers right now and are concerned about meeting demand.
THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, AND THE COMPANY IS NOT A TRANSPORTATION CARRIER. No...I'm just never going to stand outside, hailing a taxi, like some fucking rube ever again in my life.
Well it looks like my old ass is going back on the singles market in August only two months before turning 34. This is either going to be really fun or really shitty. Not sure which yet.
just pick a couple of impressionable female students each semester. Can't see how that won't be fun btw since this thread started I have moved to the second age bracket in the poll
If I didn't actually love my wife and like her as much as I do, I think being 40 would and single would be absolutely wonderful.
Being able to use what I've learned over the years will be rather fun I think Since I'm starting my PhD, it will actually simplify my life a bit. I'll miss my kids and I'm basically going to be dirt poor for a few years but it will all work out in the end.
