From what I’ve seen of this dude since he popped up in the Sydney Sweeney thread and you posted that Subreddit, he’s closeted, right?
If you have great taste in music like Where Eagles Dare then April 30th at the Roxy has Bad Religion and Social Distortion playing.
Where is everyone parking at the airport these days with the South Lot being completely destroyed. Is the North lot big enough? The west lot has a train and you can make a reservation. There is one that has a bus. I'm flying out Wed at 7am and don't really want to deal with the flakiness of Uber at 5am
Uber has been flaky recently. Especially in East Lake. 10-15 minutes to find a car. I'd prefer to not have that hassle at 5am
Probably a decent amount. I would imagine a lot of people will try to do this though so maybe not as much as you think. Gonna depend on what countries play here too. I’m planning on going to every game here.
I thought it was fantastic. Don't have any comparison outside your traditional americanized sushi, but everything was unique and fantastic. Lots of Uni, fish liver mouse, was incredible. I thought it was 10x better than atlas. 12 person dinning room was also pretty intimate and cool
Who is your atlanta superbowl lineup if they didn't blow it? I think Usher is a solid main act since he has the broadest appeal (assuming Outkast doesn't reunite) and then you have Luda, Lil Jon, Big Boi, TI and Jeezy
Top tier documentary imo. It's all about an Omakase restaurant that Jiro owns and runs. It's my brother-in-law's favorite doc I believe.
I think the 3 acts I saw play live at the Falcons tailgate party in Houston were perfect. It was mostly old business men, so only about 75-100 people were in the crowd actively enjoying the show, but the three who played were Outkast, TI, and Ludicrous. It was incredible tbh. I can’t remember anything about the rest of the day…
Good morning friends, Got news yesterday that my wife is likely being transferred to Atlanta within the next 6 months. Certainly not upset at the thought of getting the fuck out of Oklahoma but idk shit about your fine city. I've got a 7 and a 4 year old, so schools are a big concern. Are there good public schools inside the perimeter or am I gonna have to move to some way out suburb and spend hours in the car anytime I want to take advantage of the amenities of the city?
you should look at Drew Charter area. Excellent STEM program. what part of city will her office be located?
gotcha, just wanted to confirm her commute situation from east side is doable. But yes there are good in-town options. I am zoned for Maynard Jackson HS, have heard good things but some ppl still send their kid to Drew. Maynard Jackson district has a few reputable charter type elementary schools depending on neighborhood like Ormewood Park. Similar situation for those zoned Midtown (formerly Grady) HS. Seen parents in both districts still try to get admission for Drew Charter. the Druid Hills emory area has good schools. other side of the city has North Atlanta which has a good reputation, think they moved a few years ago into an old IBM campus. But its a pricey area.
In that case your best bet for schools (though quite pricey) would be the Morningside, Piedmont Heights and Virginia Highlands neighborhoods (Springdale, Morninside and Virginia Highlands Elementary schools) or Brookhaven (Ashford Park, Smith and Montgomery). I'm probably missing some but those were the best ones when we were looking
Yea no issue there but it is very expensive in the city right now as you would imagine. As you're looking this thread is a good resource for neighborhood info (Atlanta is a big city made up of small enclaves that all have their own vibe)
The other option her company dangled was San Jose, Atlanta housing is deliriously affordable compared to that. Seems like 600k-700k gets you a palace
