I was blowing off my back patio and this carpenter bee started buzzing the tower aggressively. I eventually pointed the blower at him. He just kept flying directly into the air stream from the blower until I ran out of battery and went inside. Remarkable resilience.

Carpenter bees have shown up in full force. 2 or 3 of them always end up weirdly dead on my deck/driveway without any attack on my part - any clue why that is?
My assumption was natural cycle as there's been no spray or other elimination attempts made (other than my 4 year old trying to hit them with a tball bat).
