Just watched 1st ep of X-Men 97. So much nostalgia. Everything about it was perfect and brought me back to being 8 years old and watching X-Men on Saturday morning. It's sad how the overall theme of X-Men is more relevant today than ever. That final "kill" of the episode...
Episode 2 with a wild revelation I have no memory of (edit: after some research, it wasn't in the original show, but a variation has happened a few times in the comics), a January 6th homage, and a bittersweet ending with a cliffhanger. Loving this show so far.
The Andrew Garfield catching Zendaya scene is so well executed. And casting Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina as back-to-back villains is so outrageously good Sam Raimi.
