I'm happy to keep my powder dry until I know a lot more about the film, but I'm scratching my head about this one.
I don’t know shit other than the very basic storyline of the Silver Surfer. I know he was with Galactus then went against him. Thats about it. She’s a phenomenal actress and figured she’d get a role other than a voice over for cgi.
She’s playing Norrin Radd’s gf and Empress of their planet in the comic book. She also becomes a herald of Galactus in one of the storylines.
I also think this iteration of the FF is from a different universe. So have fun with the character and separate yourself from the last FF film.
Had to do a quick WTF google there. Others are saying Isaiah was shown to be hypnotized first. That makes more sense.
Let's say someone didn't watch all of the X-Men show in the 90s and only got through the first couple seasons on D+. Is the new stuff a carryover from that and they need to watch it before the new stuff? Or is this the same characters/style but basically a brand new show? And I know part of the answer is "watch all the old stuff anyway" and I will make sure to relay that part to this hypothetical dumb person.
It's supposed to be a carryover, but I haven't watched the original show since I was a kid and I'm fine. I'm sure there's an "everything you should know" video on YouTube if you're feeling lost.
DirtBall dropped it in the show thread on the tv board They make references to a fair number of old storylines but also do an okay job giving tl;dr’s on them. You don’t get great explanations on some villains like Trask, Mojo, or Sinister though.
So glad that when we finally get Mr. Sinister on the big screen that he’ll have never been tarnished by Bryan Singer and Fox. Only reference previously being in the Apocalypse credit scene.
I am legit addicted to listening to the nerd casts reactions to that X97 episode. Best thing we’ve got since IW or WandaVision.
I will riot if this new rumor of Sam Raimi is directing Hollands Spider-Man 4 is true and not his original.
People still holding Spider-Man 3 against him, even though he tanked it on purpose and 1+2 are great and literally the reason we even have Superhero movies.
