Retard only shot the first couple of cars it looked like. They opened and came out from one at the back that hadn't been shot at all
Dolores is looking for the maze. Curious why, if the MiB turns out to be William, why he would be acting like it's his first time going there 30 years later. Seems to me like he should know exactly how to get there if he's already done it. Unless there's a metaphorical maze in the hosts minds AND a literal maze that exists somewhere in the park, and the "maze" Dolores is "looking for" is the former. She seems to be looking for a physical place though that Bernardobotarnoldmaybenotarnold told her to go find.
Spoiler She finds it in the preview for next episode I think Lawrences narrative is wild and pretty badass. I bet his story takes guests all the way to the furthest out / craziest story in the park. Kinda disappointing if we don't get to see how that one plays out :armscrossed:
so unless he's getting a major price cut, at 40k a day for nearly 30 years the MiB has spent almost half a billion dollars trying to find the maze assuming he's more or less lived in there on a daily basis
Spoiler the board chick is in the previews over theresas body... so was the board chick part of the blood sacrifice too or...
I still think the two dudes in the facility helping Maeve is the most ridiculous plot line in the whole thing. Nobody can be crazy enough to not realize the immense danger of what they are doing. Why don't they just shut her down or have someone come get her when she's away from the facility? Maybe I'm being cunty and it's definitely worth overlooking to enjoy an amazing show but I am just always :jagsfan: when their scenes come on
I agree it's one of the weaker subplots. I think it will come to have more meaning in future episodes. On a side note, it's both interesting and frustrating how entire subplots can be absent from episodes. It's clearly intentional but sucks how MiB has been absent from two episodes
Bernard contemplating his existence gave me a flashback of doing acid. Then I wondered if my life was real. Then I let out an audible meh I don't give a fuck.
Ok, will someone tell me if we are assuming that Ford does or doesn't know the hosts are evolving? The impression I'm getting is that he is on this chaos.
So what is everyone's take on the fact that corporate chick said that the gods required a boood sacrifice of someone entirely unexpected and a ford said the same thing. Thought her choice of the word gods was strange. Is she fake? Is she in on it with Ford? Really can't figure it out.
Not big on the whole board plot thing. Hope it pans out Got some nice Hannibal vibes from Hopkins tonight Thinking the endgame is that Maeve has gone beyond anything even Ford intended. Toothpaste is out of the tube and can't be put back.
More confirmation that Bernard is at least a look a lik eof Arnold and that Dolores is from the past with Arnold.
Without the explanation or why, I too thought the basement looked like the place we've seen Bernard talking to Dolores.
If you watch closely when they send the dead guy on the horse out of the train a white liquid comes out of his nose and his ears. Just went back and looked at it. I am about 95% sure it is the "milk" that they are dipping the hosts in to create them. Only other option would be they got the nitroglycerin in his body somehow. I haven't seen another host do anything but bleed. Could lend to the alternate timeline theory.
Ford killed Arnold because Arnold disagreed with him and then Ford built Bernard to look like Arnold except that he has to follow everything that Ford says
or host might not have needed to. like Ford said at the end when her phone didn't work, he did design every inch of the park. wouldn't surprise me if he's in on them changing things up and could start replacing board members with clones once they show up.
On the subject of the basement Bernard killed Theresa in, when Bernard was explaining what it was to Theresa he implied that there were several of those remote maintenance areas throughout the park but that he had never been in that one. Doesn't destroy or confirm any of the theories out there but does give an explanation as to how Bernard (or possibly Arnold way back when) was "pulling" Dolores out for their little talks and getting her back without anyone missing her.
I also wonder if the unclothed interviews was a post Arnold death reaction to the fact that Arnold grew too attached and it was represented by them wearing clothes.
I thought this was dead on from another board: Working theory. Arnold and Ford are co creators of the park but have a fundamental disagreement over the consciousness of the hosts. Ford just now revealed that he wants the hosts to be free and not have guilt, self loathing, and other troubling human emotions (stuff that makes them harder to control BTW). Arnold's view was to give hosts free will (spitballing). They can't agree on this crucial point so Ford sets out to off Arnold and do things his own way. Before Ford succeeds, Arnold is able to create the maze which represents a path for the hosts to become sentient. So it's an Adam and Eve thesis in action, and WW represents Eden. Ford is God and Arnold represents evil, or the sins of man.
Look at the face next to hers to our left. Could explain why Maeve is being helped or Fords role in knowing.
Post credits scene... is this Teresa? I thought they were pretty on the nose about making a robot for her but if Ford is acknowledging her death that won't happen.
Just found another one on an old reddit post. I wonder what it all means. I don't think they are necessarily hosts now, but does it point to people Ford is watching who may be "terminated" by him and replaced?
mib doesn't look that much like Harris. And fuck Elsie's face being up there Edit: nvm damn ed lookin like a skeleton these days with no cowboy shit on
Also why would Dolores be up there she wasn't ever a human/employee The Theresa face I guess looks like her but I wouldn't have said it unless someone said hey this looks like Theresa. Is it the same one from the row of heads picture before? I think that one looks like Theresa for sure
She either got nabbed by Ford/a robot Ford sent to get her or whatever physical form Arnold is at this point. Don't see why Ford would have beef with her though since she's on team park and anti-Delos
I thought the same thing about Harris. I struggled with the profile, but those cheeks are very distinctive. As far as Dolores, until we understand what all this means it is hard to say. Maybe she was human at some point before event he time that we see her with William? For that matter maybe every host is a reproduction of a real person. Some interesting things I read regarding Theresa are all the comments where Bernard was studying her movements and the fact that he taught her how to look when under stress and she did that down in Ford's lab with her hands on her hips. Nice little touches.
There's a reason I can't go too in deep with ANY particular theory for this show: There's really no difference between Bernard being asked "does this mean anything to you?" or me being asked the same question by the show itself.
