I dont know how to answer that. It's not like Ive seen the film to be able to say if anything is spoiled.

So far it takes place before Ep III during the Clone Wars, and involves characters from RO and the prequels

Im going to assume you wont want to read this though. It's early, but as of now, it really feels like it's going to set the stage for RO and give tons of backstory for characters.

Really I want Plaguies, and that whole book recanonized.

In the Clone Wars finale - where Yoda meets his force/holicron ghost. The fact that Yoda even knew who he was and that he created the rule of two pretty much contradicts the entire premise.

 

if you haven't seen it in VR, you haven't really seen it.

It certainly doesn't look like something to go buy VR for, but online videos really give you no feel for what the new VR stuff actually feels like.

 

Any news on a possible VIII teaser attached to Rogue One?

his current incarnation is. The stuff from that trilogy is not, though a good bit of it (minus silly clone stuff) may make its way into canon via Rebels and the new book.

 

Apparently Carrie Fisher is releasing a book where she talks about having an affair with Harrison Ford on the set of Episode IV.

Kind of a shitty move unless she got approval from him first, which I doubt considering how private he is.
