Its awesome. If I didn't have a Glock 19 I would get one. Palmetto state armory usually has some deals on them. Check ere first
Oh yeah, heck of a shot. My buddy took the photo over a 15 second exposure and just so happened to catch that shooting star.
Are you asking if you had a house fire if they would keep your ammo from cooking off? I would assume they would not depending on how bad the fire was. But neither would plastic ammo cans. I have both kinds and they both have gaskets keeping them water proof. But I doubt they would be fire proof. Your best bet to keep things fireproof is to have them stored inside a decent safe.
More concerned if the steel ones would escalate a problem that wouldn't be there with the plastic ones if there was a fire
In my opinion I would think the steel ones would be safer than plastic in a fire. But I have no proof of that. I would think the plastic ones would melt quickly. NoleNBlue not to open a fresh wound but did you have any experience with rounds cooking off in your house fire?
Anyone have recs on a smaller pair of binoculars? Not trying to spend a fortune but not something shitty either
So after buying the VP9 last week I got gun fever, and today on an impulse I scrounged around the local gunshops and built my first AR. Optics recs?
FN 16" barrel BCM 15" KMR BCM BCG, charging handle, & sights MAGPUL stock & grip I'll have to look to see the brands of upper and lower, I bought them stripped and put everything together.
Own a dozen hexmags - 5 of them don't like to seat on a closed bolt when full. No advantage for me over pmag, ymmv
Yo, we can notorize that paperwork twice. I'm going to get it done this week, then mail it to you to do. Mail me the original back and keep a copy for you.
Multiple purchases today. This Spyderco Mamba is fucking enormous for a pocket knife. Bowie and Persian are my favorite blade shapes. I didn't even know Spyderco made $300+ knives until I saw this. Brous Turpin Strife. I can see this one getting lots of carry time. This is a prototype, currently the only one in existence. More will be available in the coming weeks.
He's apparently made good or making good on that whole debacle, don't think I'd get one of his customs just based on the fact that he let it go that long and get that bad.
If you were to pick an ACOG which would you get? I'm thinking about the TA01NSN. Got a neat iron sight on top. Considering going to Cabela's so I can use my sweet gift card from Christmas on it. I've never had an ACOG before http://www.cabelas.com/product/Trijicon-ACOG-Ballistic-Reticle-Scopes/748809.uts?searchPath=/browse.cmd?categoryId=734095080&CQ_search=acog&CQ_st=b
Was just coming to ask about Trijicon MRO's and if anyone owns one, thinking about the MRO instead of a T2
Anyone have experience with RMR's or Red Dots or whatever the fuck they're called on handguns? I've shot someones AIDS infested Glock that had a dot on it but the sights didn't co-witness so it seemed sketchy. Is there a shooting advantage when it's properly done? I'm considering the Nighthawk or Ed Brown. I would consider others but I think they're the only two doing it with 1911's, plus I'm not about to send a slide out to get milled as that wont give me an excuse to buy a new gun. Leaning towards the Brown.
