I'm torn between wanting to watch Star Wars with my 4 y/o and exposing him to it so early, and waiting a little while so I can witness his reaction when he finds out Vader is Luke's father.
I assume that's supposed to be "making" his name, not that "Han Solo" is some name he earned. Interesting on the age gap. I wonder if it's one of those situations where the beginning of the movie is a short bit when he was 18 and the rest is one complete story at age 24 or if we're going to get looks at several ages in between.
This is something I should know, but how old is Han at the start of ANH? edit - he's 34??? What a pedo
though this will be unpopular, the more I watch it the less I like it and the more I respect Lucas for not doing what Abrams did. While there are certainly big similarities between ANH and TPM it is not the same movie like TFA and ANH are. Lucas could have done the same thing and we would have eaten that shit up and said how great it was but I kind of respect that he took it somewhere else. Even if where he went wasn't as fun to watch. I will concede that it is too early to fully judge TFA until its all been played out but still its something I have reflected on during my meditations within the Force
The newest Full of Sith cast interviews Sam Witwer for over an hour. It's fucking fantastic. So much behind the scenes info on Maul and Lucasfilm and shit.

Not neccisarily. They could let him live but have him be in exile or otherwise outside of the original films story arc. It would change yoda's statement in Empire when Luke leaves to go to cloud city about there "being another" from referring to Leia to referring to Ezra. In the new canon Leia doesn't seem to have developed her force abilities like she did in the old canon so her being the "other" doesn't make as much sense now as it did before. For the record, I think that this would be stupid
Definitely underwhelmed. Although it would be impossible to match last season's finale Spoiler The Bendu getting involved felt completely out of character. I get that they needed something to allow our main crew to escape but still keep Thrawn's rep intact. Still it felt cheap. Felt like they could have done a better job of portraying the devastation of losing that base. Although was it that big of a loss for the entire rebellion? It was just the base for our small cell. Also want to see if theyre are any ramifications for Thrawn w the Emperor for his failure. Although the he prevented the attack on Lothal, so there was a success. Also - where those Death Trooper Thrawn had w him? Have we seen them before in Rebels? also they're going straight to Yavin? What about Dantooine? I WANT TO SEE DANTOOINE!
My nerdy really only spans SW and ASOIAF, and The Expanse. Otherwise im your typical meathead. C U @ the keggs and eggs brah
Spoiler Liked the episode outside of the Bendu. Nothing they did was going to match the S2 finale. I feel like them skipping straight to Yavin means S4 will be the last season.
Spoiler At the very end. Talked about making a few hyper space jumps before going straight to Yavin to cover their tracks
