pretty sure he is hiring an agent. He has made several public comments making this seem like it is the case
I really miss Tracy Smith being our baseball coach. May miss a Regional for a second straight year and Smith isn't doing too hot at ASU either. That was a marriage that shouldn't have ended women's rowing finished 12th at the NCAA championships T&F is sending six to Eugene for the NCAA championships women's tennis has a girl named Madison Appel who I really really like looking at (large pictures of her in spoiler below ) Spoiler
JBJ's little bro Vijay is walking on next season. He had some so-so mid major offers so might not be a waste of a walk-on spot.
I'll fap to that as well. Really think Davis is going to be a beast. I liked his game way more than Bryant's.
Anyone know why it's fucking impossible to find IU Anthem anywhere on the YouTubes anymore? Kind of disappointed, because I'm trying to show friends and it's vanished.
Was wondering that myself. The powers that be seem to have had it scrubbed from the internet entirely. My guess is that because it included the hook from the IU Fight Song they were hit with C&D and had to take it down. Song was the jam though
Lilly King was named 2016-2017 B1G Female Athlete of the Year, becoming the 1st Hoosier to earn that distinction
2018 F Race Thompson committed to IU yesterday, becoming the first recruit of the Archie Miller era sounds like he might graduate HS in the next couple weeks and show up to campus in August as part of the 2017 class
Local kid for me and 4* Damezi Anderson from South Bend committed. He's good, I just pray his mother stays away from games. She is a bitch.
Abernathy or Laskowski by my memory. Riley was good last year but some parents ran off the coach over some b.s. racism claims. He had been around the area for decades. Not sure who the new coach is but they should make a state run. Anderson is the first commit from the state since JBJ. That's pathetic.
yup I want Phinisee Langford seems UL bound. And honestly that probably isn't the worst thing because he is likely a 2-year guy at most
I referee and am friends with a lot of local refs, so I will share this story. Pork Chop has been in on this kid for more than a year. He showed up to a bunch of Riley games last year. Lately, most people thought Anderson was a UM lock. Crean wanted nothing to do with him, so for Miller to swoop in this quickly and get him speaks volumes of his ability. On his mother. She has been kicked out of quite a few Riley games and a few away games. Your typical loud, overbearing parent of a talented kid. I had heard that Crean thought he was a head case because of the mother, and that's why he didn't even give him much of a look. Personally, I love the fact that Miller is recruiting some size. They should be able to add guards, so a guard and hopefully the kid from Fort Wayne would be a dream class.
Jon Rothstein says IU and Zona are working on a 3-year series games in Tucson, Btown and NYC https://www.fanragsports.com/news/arizona-indiana-planning-multi-year-series/
wow this Cliff Marshall S&C coach might prove to be quite the hire DD down 21 pounds and with 8 inches added to his vertical..... the pictures of Hartman/RoJo are pretty striking http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/07/26/davis-down-21-pounds-vertical-up-eight-inches-in-12-weeks/
ESPN's College Gameday is headed to Bloomington for IU's home-opener vs. No. 2 Ohio State. The IU football program on Thursday announced the network's flagship Saturday morning college football program will air a special Thursday night edition live from Memorial Stadium from 6 p.m. ET until kickoff at 8 p.m. ET.
Gonna be calling in sick to watch. First time ever for a Football GameDay in B-Town. Wonder how Lee is going to pick IU since we don't have a mascot.
and this is just after a few months on the job. Can't wait to see how future schedules look as Archie really has a chance to shape them to his liking · Quality of guarantee games beefed up: As pointed out by Mike Miller of The Herald-Times, the Hoosiers will play just one team that finished sub-300 in last year’s final Ken Pomeroy ratings. Here’s a complete look at the final KenPom ratings from last season for all 12 non-conference opponents: Indiana State – 199 Howard – 338 Seton Hall – 51 South Florida – 292 Arkansas State – 124 Eastern Michigan – 148 Duke – 14 Louisville – 9 Notre Dame – 27 Fort Wayne – 153 Tennessee Tech – 257 Youngstown State – 282 Last season, Indiana played three sub-300 KenPom teams and five others ranked between 200 and 299. http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/08/17/five-takeaways-indianas-2017-2018-schedule-release/
UK is a long shot. A lot of people starting to think Kansas may be IU's biggest competition with this one, momma apparently doesn't like slick Rick at all, plus they have a top 30ish PG and SG commit already
Didn't Phinisee have a shitty summer? Not sure if he was injured or what, but I thought I read some things about him not looking great . I have zero problem with IU taking him btw- we need to make progress in the state.
Knee I think. I'm not over the moon about him, would rather run the course with Garland, especially with Tre Jones ending up at Duke
