and i doubt it happens, but i still like the idea of an EG.old and an EG team and i wish they'd look at doing that considering the success China has had with their internal training teams (IG.V/IG and LGD/LFY). Fear/RTZ ?/Sumail Universe/Zai ?/Crit PPD/Misery SVG could coach both. 2 and 4 are the most impactful roles in dota right now, though, and i have no idea who would play that for the older team. this is a pipe dream but considering the number of tourneys next year, it would be great for the org IMO.

I'm the exact opposite because when I played ranked I spam 4 heroes that I'm really, really good with and when I play solo unranked I only first pick random and keep the first random no matter what. Which is why last night I played and lost with Broodmother
I get so annoyed when people pick offlane carries. Guy in my game just played offlane troll. You have no farm, so you can't kill anyone, and your spells are basically useless, so you can't contribute in teamfights. Just dead weight.

You don't get Atos fwiw. No need for it when it's 3 on 5 for 4 seconds. Have plenty of catch too with 1100 range astrals if someone's running away. People in here should try it imo
Atos has +7% win rate for 700 more gold. It gives 20 INT (and therefore base mana, regen and damage - first 2 wasted on OD) 15 strength(hp, which he does benefit from) with 6 agi and dmg. It roots and allows massive damage so you can't get kited or helps you escape. Aether gives 6% spell amp which equates to about 10 extra damage per attack end game assuming you have 2000 mana (his level 25 base mana is just over 1000) and increases range by 220, but not on bkb or spell immune targets. Also base mana and mana regen that are both wasted after 20 minutes on OD with no active.
-People that are buying aether lens mostly aren't buying aghs too. If you don't buy aghs afterward, it's a poor item. -As for win rates, aghs has an 8% higher win rate than BKB for only 200 gold more. Win rates are pretty unreliable judges of effectiveness for a lot of reasons. -Cripple is dispellable, disjointable, and a projectile- imprisonment is none of those. Imprisonment does. Also only lasts half as long and does damage after you use it, so they can't blink after you. -The spell amp is a nice bonus, but that's not the reason you get it. The 220 extra range takes astral over the threshold for blink dagger distance and gives you the range to still astral someone after you hurricane pike them. BKB also isn't a core item on OD. (Especially in pubs) Lot of games you need it, but in a lot of others Linkens is a better choice.
Played WR against a Gyro mid who did nothing but spam rocket every time I walked up to last hit. Still won, but that was about the most cancerous thing I've ever seen.
For as good as Ana can be, that True Sight episode showed the work they have to put into him mentally to keep him from breaking. I can see that being tiresome. Really curious to see who they add in his place.
I hope these 2nd EG squad rumors turn out to be true. Would give me two teams to root for. More chances at happiness hah
Makes alot of sense. PPD probably wants to play again and with the new system. There's alot of money out there to bring in for the organization. One team won't want to play every event, leaves room for the other one. More merch sales. Idk. I really just want PPD and Fear back ha

Earlier I randomed an offlaner (Magnus) and a teammate proceeded to pick abaddon, CS the lane, and build core. Would have been nice to have an aura carrier abaddon since he was the logical mek holder, and enable me to get like, idk, blink and force staff. It went poorly.
