Won this cooler in a football throwing contest. It probably sucks compared to a K2 or RTIC but it was free and has to be better than my Coleman
I was surprised to see that the LX570 was actually less expensive on the secondary market than the Toyota Land Cruiser - but wasn't surprised that 4-5 year old models with less than 10k miles/year had TONS of inventory in the Dallas, Birmingham and Atlanta areas. Easy to find solid value if you're willing to take a 1 way flight and drive it home.
Need help. I’m an idiot. Need a new TV.. the Thursday before football season starts. Last time I bought a TV, I walked into Costco and bought the cheapest they had. Would like suggestions before walking in. I want a 55-65” TV. Would like to stay around $1000. Doesn’t have to be 4K. Preference between brands? Buying from Best Buy vs costco vs Amazon?
You're in luck. I just went through this....and I mean just last week. As a matter of fact I am getting the TV mounted on my wall tomorrow. As I do with most purchases I researched the shit out of TVs. I knew I wanted a 65 inch and didn't really want to spend over $1,200. Here's what you need to get. Best rated TV for the money in your price range and its not really close. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/6-series-2018-r617 You're welcome.
I picked up a 65 inch from Best Buy and went cheap. I bought a Hisense and then an Insignia and both had light colored “bleed” on the bottom of the screen, which I read was common, but forgot why. They were prolly between 7-800. I went back and talked to the guy and ended up getting a Samsung for a couple hundred more (it ended up being 1050ish) and it’s been perfect. Samsung, Sony, etc are worth the extra few bucks. Also, Best Buy has a credit card that has no interest for 24 months or something. I put a few hundred down right away and since I am responsible and can pay a simple bill, it’s like 40 bucks a month.
No pic because its not much to look at but... I just purchased the Sonos Playbase. Between that and getting my new TV mounted tomorrow...I'm irrationally excited. I've officially started my Sonos ecosystem!!
Bonobos fan boys, I'm looking at getting some weekday warriors, I'm 6'2 about 210, which cut would be best? Athletic? Also reading they size may run a tad bigger than it says? i.e. 36 closer to a 37, etc.
I would say that’s probably right on the waist sizing in my experience. Normal or athletic should both be fine. I will sat that I found the athletic pair I have to be a little more roomy in the thigh/seat than I expected.
Yes. The athletic has room in butt and upper thigh area but have the skinny feel from the knee down. It was too aggressive for me, I went with the straight.
I've got 4 pairs of slim pants (chinos and 5 pockets) from them and like them all. I have found they actually stretch out a bit but are still tapered enough for my liking.
I feel like the straight might be too baggy (not baggy but like too wide in the leg). I'm debating Athletic or slim. What's your weight and height?
Retooling the living room (ours has a little more gray to it) I don't want to step foot in a Pottery Barn in a long long time
I’m 6’0 175 and I wear slim fit. I have weekday warriors, chinos and the five pocket Italian pants and they all feel very loose fitting to me compared to my J Crew jeans and chinos. I tried on athletic fit and it felt like early 2000’s loose pants.
I found a guy on Home Advisor. He installed a new power outlet and mounted the tv (including mount) for about $150.
This is exactly what I used and paid. It was pretty much a minimum of $30 cheaper thru Amazon Home Services than it was thru any other service or company that quoted me. I live alone and don't want to ask a friend to come over to lift a TV up. I also don't have a stud finder like you probably do as you homosex. You know what I do have?!? $119 so technician Jonathan can come over and handle that shit for me.
Listen people. I used my money to pay to have Jonathan put the mount together and put my new TV on said mount which is now on a wall. Jonathan and his family appreciated my money so it was a fantastic agreement we reached. Next time I will get a bid from each of you as you apparently are like Jonathan and like hanging TV's on wall mounts on the wall. At that point you will then have the opportunity to take my money and then you and your family can appreciate it. Until then.....it's football season and the job is done.
Did you thoroughly vet Jonathan? Maybe his family did not see a dime of that money and ISIS got it all. How can you sleep at night? You basically funded ISIS.
I did not. I trusted Amazon did that when I booked the service. Huge corporations like Amazon never mess up.
Also, Jonathan was completely deaf and like many deaf people didn't speak either so not only did I get a TV mounted on my wall....I feel like I greatly improved my non-verbal communication. I might know sign language now.
I have hung multiple TVs and placed outlets on sheet rock walls. It's not difficult or even that time-consuming, and only requires basic tools most people have, but I respect a man's right to fuel our national economy by paying someone else to do it.
These new tv's are light as shit. I remember hanging a 55" plasma while my GF at the time watched. I thought I was going to catch a hernia.
I don't even use stud finders (I'd use your wife but as far as stud finders go, she's not very good lol) I use magnets. hth
