Buddies and I still play drinking Mario Party on the 64. Cannot wait for a new one on Switch. Should get me an extra set of joy cons.
Stopped by gamestop to check out the Mario Party demo...game is going to be ludicrously fun...perfect use of motion controls and the Joy Cons.
It's obviously going to rock, but it could have been half as good as the N64 version and I'd have still played the shit out of it
It wasn’t a lot to fix. They have a ton of feedback over many entries into the series to draw from. Thankfully common sense seems to have prevailed. They’ve gone back to a traditional game board rather than everyone hopping on a fucking train to travel the board together. 80 mini-games is a good number. I like that they’re implementing a co-op party mode with some different maps and objectives. And I like that they give the option of using the non-traditional dice to make it more interesting. It’s going to be a great game and unequivocally what I’ve looked forward to the most on Switch. There’s a pantheon of party games that essentially every Nintendo console has had. Friends come over and you can make an evening of it. Mario Kart, Smash, and at the top of the list for me, Mario Party.
I just don't want anymore games where I have to blister up my palm to spin the joystick as quick as possible on the bike
Brings back so many great memories. Easiest $20 I’ve spent on a game in a while. My daughter is having fun with it too which makes it that much better.
Crash trilogy is on sale and picking it up tomorrow That Best Buy GCU discount combined with $5 reward is the good stuff
The joycons are impressive, and obviously Nintendo knew they could showcase the hell out of them with MP. Fun game so far. Enjoyed the rafting game and the mini games have been entertaining so far.
Me after presumably cruising to victory in shaking the candy out of the bottle only for the last piece of candy to get stuck sideways and me finishing in last
Just enacted sweet revenge on my wife for ruthlessly fucking me in SMP on Friday night. I took no prisoners on this night. She will now live in fear of how quickly my tricycle crosses the finish line.
Played with my wife’s sister and her husband the other night and had a great time. First time with 4 human players
I see you guys. Working on it now. We should have room for 2-3 more. I’ll send out first round of invites and see if anyone else wants in on the family plan. I think the only caveat is that you guys have to take turns walking my dog and saying nice things about my wife since we’re all under one roof now.
Please explain the control scheme. I tried this earlier and it seemed fun but I was never sure what the hell I was doing. Classic Nintendo to not allow button mapping and to just not tell you the controls at all.
A+B at the same time is jump...forwards(or backwards) twice is run...hold B for a power throw...I remember that if you sprint the entire length of your side then you’ll do heavier damage. Also throw the ball at the height of your jump(and hold b). Jumping on defense(a+b) is also the best way to intercept the ball.
Of course Nintendo is mind boggingly inept at the NES online...do you or anyone else want to play some dodge ball(or Mario tennis) via friend code?
Fooled around with it for a few minutes and it’s pretty cool so far. The Messenger is super legit too...I’d compare it favorably to Celeste.
https://express.google.com/u/0/prod...mIPlZ5fJ-ajkBKcEvqlZkpd4ior8h8tBoCy5IQAvD_BwE $44.99 here. Honestly I think it’s still worth it at $60...one of the best, if not the best, 2d platformers ever made. I find it endlessly replayable too.
I need some buddies. SW-5045-3022-1937 Mainly, I just want to see how many fucking games Dairy Queen has played at this point.
