Keto pancakes with a blackberry butter sauce. Pancakes are made with coconut flour. Plate is like 5 carbs Currently making a loaf of bread made with almond flour. Curious to see how it turns out

Same here. Headed out of town to the Adirondacks for 3 days of training, starting Wednesday, and I can't do keto there. Starting today back on gluten and sugar slowly to not murder my guts, and will get through the week, and back on it on Friday. But I will say, that warm cinnamon roll was nice this morning...
I make the pancakes probably every other weekend. You can't really tell too much of a difference between them and regular pancakes The bread was good. Had an ''eggy" taste to them. I guess I was supposed to had yeast to cut down on that flavor. Oh well, it wouldn't be good with PB&J but it was fine for my pork belly sliders

Made the cinnamon roll fat bombs. Good stuff. My friend accidentally knocked over a faulty vape cartridge into the bowl when I was mixing it so I had to dump all of it in there. Feeling warm and fuzzy this morning.
Because of aforementioned treats I was inspired to make something new. Sauteed a little onion, bell pepper, and mushroom in butter. Added rotisserie chicken and bacon crumbles (from Sam's, these are amazing for quick meals). Let the chicken heat through and the bacon crisp a little. Then added heavy cream, parmesan, and white cheddar. Poured over a plate of pork rinds with cilantro salsa(Sam's, 1 carb/2 tbsp), sour cream, avacado, and green onion. Messy to eat but delicious, though not a perfect replacement for nachos. Not getting far from the toilet today though. I didn't track closely because I'm not eating many more carbs today but I doubt there are more than 6 or 7 net carbs on the plate.
Back on my shit this am with a sausage egg casserole. The cheat wasn’t worth it. Won’t be doing that again for a while
Can’t speak for the science of it but my biggest weight losses come after a cheat day followed by a 1-2 day fast
If you have maintained that much discipline start to introduce some things on a smaller scale and see how you feel. Drink some beer, eat some pizza, have desert and see how you feel. Pretty sure you already know the answer but that might satisfy your itch and you move on.
You been holding well overall? Good maintenance? It’s my biggest problem in life, the discipline to maintain what got me there.

I’m going on a long vacation in a month and I’m not gonna do the diet at all on it. May do a cheat day and get some of the things I’ve missed then hit it for another month.

I only have a craving for pizza once in a while. Everything else I’ve really not missed over the 2 months. Had a sandwich but I’ve been wanting it since I sae it on TV almost 6-7 years ago. Otherwise, I see no reason to go off the diet. I’ll have to amend it somewhat, but it’s gone from a diet to a lifestyle for me. I feel great and have lost a ton of weight - the first part of that sentence is the best part. Interested to see how running season starts and if I need to modify something.
That was me exactly Friday night. It was good but I felt guilty afterwards. I’ll splurge on beer next time but probably not food. I’ve been lethargic all day.
Yep. Pizza Friday and Whataburger Saturday. My wife took the kiddo to see her mom so I decided to splurge and just went for it. Eating them :) The hours afterward :(

Gained 4 lbs during my weekend splurge. Doing a week of intermittent fasting and cutting calories hardcore. I was on a hell of a roll. Not worth it.
Just got back from my vacation. I had gained a few lbs the week leading up to my trip when I came off the diet, but actually lost 2 pounds while I was gone. Plan is to get back on the wagon tomorrow.
Sounds a lot like my weekend - drank a ton and ate horribly and gained 4 lbs as well. Am about 26 hours into a fast and debating on just going 48 and then starting again with lunch tomorrow.
My job involves too many burned calories on a daily basis to do a full 24 hour fast on a weekday. Will likely do one starting Sunday night through Monday night though as that’s much more doable.

start eating fattier meat. Eat lots of ranch and cheese with your meat. You don’t need a ton of calories so you should be able to make that adjustment
Today was chicken thighs and cheese for lunch, sausage and cheese for dinner. Goes back to my problem of not enough overall calories/food that we had discussed. Plus, I got back to running tonight, so there were a couple hundred extra calories to eat back. So drinking olive oil it is. That and some whipped cream with cocoa powder for dessert. I feel bad for making it sound like I’m complaining.
After falling off the wagon over the weekend, I just took a poop that has let me know I’m back in ketosis. Feels good to be back I’m never leaving again
Isn’t being calorie deficit a good thing to losing weight? Maybe you need more fat but not sure why you’d never extra unnecessary calories.
When I go too low, my body prefers stasis. When I eat more, my body keeps burning. And I was a full 600-700 calories under my goal after 2 tbsps of olive oil and meals for the day. That’s what happens when a 235 lb man goes for a run.
