3 weeks in and down from 238 to 222
Carb dreams are back
the other night I destroyed a whopper and fries, it was delicious
Kept the weight off last year, going between 205-212, depending on how much I let myself go (like vacation). Went into Thanksgiving at 205. All was well.
Then I ate approximately 200 cookies (not an exaggeration) between Thanksgiving and NY. Found myself having ballooned to 222-ish.
Hit the ground running on 1/1. Have been lifting and running almost daily, plus a not-quite keto diet (45% protein, 45% fat, 10% carbs).
Down to 200.2 this AM. Body fat (24.8%) is the lowest I’ve ever been (or at least since measured at 16) and when I drop below 200 it will be the first time since the late 90’s.
Goal is 180-185 lbs and 18% body fat by year-end. Gotta keep this train moving forward.
what are your go tos on the diet?
Breakfast and lunch are almost always one of an omelette with spinach and gruyere or a shake w/ 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder, PB2 powder, and half an avocado (using water as the liquid).
Dinner is typically roasted broccoli, asparagus, or Brussel sprouts with either 1/2 a chicken or 8oz sirloin.
And lots of water. I mean A LOT.
I drink roughly 130-140oz daily.
The calorie burn from walking to/from the bathroom all day is real.
204 this morning. 34 pounds in 10 weeks
Under 200. Went to NOLA and ate/drank like an asshole. Gained 12 lbs over 4-5 days.
Felt like shit for a couple days and hopped back on immediately upon returning home. Back under 200 after 4 days of shedding the water retained. Hitting the healthy eating train hard again until early June for the next trip.
