Last summer the kovacic loan took some time because we wanted an option to buy and Real Madrid didn’t want it. They got their way. I’m assuming they either want a high fee obligation to buy or no option at all and Tottenham want an option.
Part of the reason why Ceballos to Milan has stalled is Real want the money upfront and don't want to go the loan route. Another issue is the a problem with not being in the champions league. As its believed Ceballos wants to play for a team participating. Theo Hernandez was believed to be a load with option to buy but the official paper work from the league indicated Milan paid for the full transfer and no loan took place. I would be surprised if his transfer has a loan of any sort attached to it.
Interesting. Not sure we'll be springing for his 500m euro release clause to make it a permanent deal.
The rumored price tag was 35m. He's not going to stat at Real as they wont give him a starting position and he's told the team he wants to leave,
iirc, Spanish law requires La Liga teams to have release clauses, right? And of course his asking price will be different, but it's always been funny the numbers they put for the release clauses just cause they have to.
A club captain and veteran can’t be pulling this kind of shit. Is it really worth it to trash the club you spent a lot of your prime years with?
his body can’t handle the EPL schedule anymore. the club should let him move. he’s played through injuries most guys wouldn’t the last couple of seasons. he doesn’t owe the club anything else imo.
So is arsenal just being unreasonable? I just think the captain could do this in private but if the club is being unreasonable I guess I can see it. Not a good look though.
They needed a forward considering they didn’t really have a back-up for Suarez last year and he’s getting old regardless. Plus they already signed FDJ for the midfield. Their backline is solid and they really could only use a backup leftback and it’s not like Griezmann will preclude that.
I'm not a European fut reporter, just relaying the news. I think it's done, just a bunch of lawyers acting like cunts. Probably setting up AG for a tax evasion appointment in a year or so.
Kind of an oddball window for us so far. We’ve been able to sell off some surplus that just couldn’t crack the first team and loaned out 2 of our 3 most consistent wingers. Costa is off to Leeds and Cavaleiro is off to Fulham. Both are seemingly loan-to-buy deals. Our only incoming are some U23 guys and making Raúl and Donck permanent. Tsun Dai and Nya might be good enough for the first team in the next couple of years. Haven’t really seen us linked to anyone other than Diego Costa, which I assume was complete bullshit.
Everyone taps players up but at least tries to pretend they don’t. Barca and griezmann didn’t even try and hide it. Will be interesting to see if anything comes from this.
I hit a point in life where I either pass out or am so uncomfortable with how much I’m pissing that I have to stop drinking. I don’t know how I ever used to get to that point but I know you guys appreciated it. And for that, I am thankful.
This guy works for a paper that was listed as Tier 1/Tier 2 source for transfers on those charts Spoiler for complete lack of reliability Spoiler
Well guess who just moved to Tallahassee and can tailgate again, motherfucker. (I’m going to fall asleep in the bleachers again like the Duke game in 2007)
Good Tifo Football video on the new Italian tax law that provides significant tax breaks to attract workers based outside of Italy to the country.
