Rooster is about 100 yards from my house. We're eating 2x a week from there during this. Mostly tacos
“Why?” season has started. Every time I go outside, I think to myself, “why the hell do I live here?” I’ll be inside in the air conditioning til October.
I thought it would be a good idea to mow the grass at noon for some reason. Thought the same thing about 10 minutes in
My dog looked like she wanted to die .25 miles into the walk I just took her on. She was sprinting to get to grass whenever she could.
We went to the bed this morning. Fort DeSoto. Got there super early by 11 the beach was fucking slammed so we left but that water is feeling real nice these days.
We took our kids to Honeymoon Island for my son's birthday. It was as busy as it normally would be on a 4th of July weekend. Just completely slammed. People really trying to make up for lost time!
Funny you say that. Little lawnole on a walk yesterday said “my butt sure is sweaty.” That’s swamp butt son. Get used to it.
I thought it seemed to be even busier. Just insane. Last 2 months has been incredible beach wise, but that’s over.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting that at all. A normal Sunday morning has maybe a quarter of the people at that beach.
I played against him in HS. My brother and best friend played baseball with him. I still think he might be the best HS football player to come out of Tampa. He was a great HS QB but Spurrier only wanted him to play WR. Nebraska wanted him at QB. It’s too bad he got caught up in a lot of criminal activity post NFL from weed distribution, guns, and running illegal gambling games.
Saw videos of most bars on snapchat location this weekend and seemed like everything was back to pre-covid normal, hopefully we don't get bunch of new infections soon.
I was driving down Howard and World of Beer and the place that moved into the Lodge were slammed around 3:30 on Saturday.
Apparently WHO says asymptomatic transmission is rare. CDC also says it doesn’t spread easily via contaminated surfaces.
Have cases increased because of more testing or has the number of tests remained about the same? If it’s the latter then the higher number of positives is a concern.
One soccer match in Italy was responsible for a massive spread of the virus, fuck going to something like that until it's really under control. https://apnews.com/ae59cfc0641fc63afd09182bb832ebe2
The state says there are more confirmed cases due to more tests. Apparently the percentage of positives is declining
Is there a chance I can attend FSU-bsu in Idaho to start the season? I gave up on having a cfb season, so never thought attending games was possible. Is that being talked about now? Obviously Idaho is a much different situation than Florida.
Honestly, I think some of these small schools that rely more on ticket sales are more likely to push the issue
Any of our insiders have some Vinik divorce gossip? Hope it doesn't affect anything related to the downtown development or philanthropy
Don't really listed anymore, but Mike Calta and a few people from his radio show tested positive for COVID19.
Drove by the TGH Urgent Care place on Gandy on the way to lunch and the parking lot was beyond capacity. Maybe it's not covid related based on case numbers this week it's looking really bad.
6 of 8 girls in a bachelorette party tested positive (St Pete). Some guy from a Church on Anna Maria as well.
