I’m getting fucking triggered reading: 1) “there will always be bad cops, they’re only human, we can never perfect society”. sounds like the same bullshit we hear after every mass shooting. 2) George Floyd was a bad person and had criminal history. WTF relevance does this have to the way he died? NONE. Why even fucking bring it up.
There were so many wrestling fans yelling at Rock and saying stone cold was better. This is his second time I've seen him calling people out.
Absolutely nothing but you knew they’d be searching his background all the way back to middle school to try and discredit him
Not sure but probably at least since Vietnam. it always bothers me when people say “there will always be bad cops”. Okay? We aren’t protesting the existence of bad cops. We’re protesting the fact that not enough is done about them when they show their true colors.
LeBron literally started a school to help underrepresented communities. LeBron has donated millions. LeBron appears to be a legitimately good person. There is literally no reason not to like him. He is an athlete that uses his voice for good for those that don’t have one. You honestly have to be a pos not to like him.
BIG NUMBER: $41.8 million: In 2015, James partnered with the University of Akron to provide a guaranteed four-year scholarship to the school for students in James’ I Promise program who qualify, which is expected to cost approximately $41.8 million. The I Promise School is an elementary school in LeBron’s hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Lebron's school is still probably the coolest thing I've seen an athlete/celebrity do. He's renovating fucking buildings so the kids have a good place to live. They have their own food bank so the parents can take food home to the kids. Hes a great man and anyone that says otherwise can get fucked. https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/04/us/lebron-james-i-promise-village-trnd/index.html
Probably the largest since Kent State blew up in May 1970. A lot of colleges shut down for 1-2 weeks afterward.
The inaugural class of LeBron James' I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, has received some amazing news. All 193 students, who are high school juniors, will be receiving free tuition to Kent State University. The kids, who were visiting the Kent State campus, erupted in cheers when they were told of the news, while their parents, watching from a live feed in a separate room, burst into tears. Video of the announcement was released on Wednesday by the LeBron James Family Foundation.
what bertstare do u do help ur community ? Besides be hateful piece of shit bigot? Show us your donations and blur out ur name since your an amazing Catholic replicating the work of Jesus! When did the Jesus you praise so much ever once mention to worship men who have zero empathy or have zero humility ? I will donate a $100 to you charity if you can quote the Bible where Jesus was a narcissist and lacked empathy upon the poor and meek
I hope we don’t go down this road. This is what happens all the time. Marginalized communities are always pitted against one another by those is power. Brown people say shit against black but it also goes the other way too. It’s not everyone but yeah it happens. It does nothing for all of us to try and paint one community with a broad brush stroke. Brown and Black need to be allies. We don’t examples of the worst to try and create divisions.
I’d be interested in knowing how much or little of that 42 mil is coming from Lebron. He’s done a lot of great things but there were reports of him only giving 2.5mil of his own money to his school and the taxpayers funding the rest. Either way my post isn’t a knock on Lebron. Guy is doing a hell of a lot more than most famous people and whether he’s using his name to get others to pony up or he’s doing it himself it’s still great for the kids
And another person just got murdered by the cops Well appears the Tweet got deleted before I could post it so here’s an image of what it said
I do nothing to help my community, also I am not a practicing catholic but also not sure how that’s relevant
