Just when I thought the Reguilon signing couldn't get any better, I see a picture of his significant other. Her name is Marta and she is smoke.
The recruitment this window has clearly re-energized the entire squad and us as a fanbase. So many club friendly deals for players who either represent definite upgrades or quality depth that we've been desperately needing for years. We had clear targets and went and acquired them in a timely fashion for once. I love the direction this is heading right now. The team has an edge we've been lacking for 3 years.
Skriniar isn't happening Is he any good? We just loaned out Juan Foyth with an option to buy. Is he better than Juan Foyth? Spurs need to add depth at CB, but there's no real point if they're not good enough to improve the club
Not playing this week fucking blows. I’m also terrified that we’ll have players come back with injury/COVID. Friendlies and Nations League being played right now, outside of a bubble, is utter bollocks.
Reguilon off with a knock. You just knew this break was going to fuck us. Fortunately it seems to be precautionary more than anything, and hopefully he’s done with football until next weekend. I
Bale just being on the training ground and in the stands for matches has just raised everyone's level I feel. There have been some reports that he looks really good in training at the moment as well. If he is able to maintain any kind of health this season I think he will really enjoy himself playing in this team. And for a club that appreciates him fully. He is clearly the type of player that thrives off of that positive energy. Ali G mentioned how Reguilon has already become a locker room favorite as well.
Started a fifa career mode. I lasted two minutes before I realized Vinicius hadn’t been transferred over. Back out, back out, back out.
He might have been doing it for years, but he's featuring it this year and it's been (maybe) the difference so far this season.
I know it's been said in every thread on here but playing friendlies and fucking around globe trotting during the pandemic is just so fucking stupid, especially piled on top of fixture congestion with limited off time.
Had an open header on a corner that he missed badly. Was his usual self towards the end by drawing fouls and holding up play to drain the clock. Most importantly he didn’t get injured.
Toby was really solid in defense for Belgium. He was unlucky to tip a Mount shot that finished in the top corner for England’s winning goal. Dier was at fault for the 1 Belgium goal. He had a rash tackle on Lukaku in the box that was, correctly, called a penalty. Lukaku had him one on one on the counter and flicked the ball ahead to outrun Dier into the box. Dier did a decent job of matching him stride for stride, and had he just stayed on his feet, it looked like he had neutralized the threat. But he went to the ground and the penalty was called.
Hi. Stay the fuck away from Rodon please unless you're willing to give up 25 Mil, a season loan back of Joe and also giving up CCV in the deal. Thank you
