I guess I've gotten pretty lucky. Haven't really had a single bug for me in 10 hours played. On PC though My brother is on the struggle bus playing on his ps4
I've had a couple bugs where I have had to reload a save, but other than that it has been fine other than a couple people tposing or some people popping in or out of existence.
Been mostly fine on PS4; textures can be blurry, almost like watching on a really muggy day, and in the intro sequence as a Nomad, the “coupling” I replaced never moved. When I first went to Lizzie’s, the bouncers took a minute to change from blurs into proper NPCs It’s just little visual things that are limitations of the hardware more than any problems with the game itself. Doesn’t take a genius to see the ambition of the scope of the game, and it avoided the kind of issues that ME:A had, which I considered unfixable. Even if it never runs great on these last-gen consoles, I know the replay value is here to enjoy it multiple times on PS5 with the free upgrade and boosted hardware.
I enjoy the game a lot. The missions seem great, at least a few hours in, which is what I care about. I will say that the AI within the city doesn’t exist unless it’s part of a mission. Someone on Reddit pointed that out, and I can’t ignore it now. But it doesn’t ruin the game for me.
That’s my feeling. Bummed it has issues on PS4 but I’m getting a PS5 (lol) whenever one is available so I’ll keep playing it. Haven’t made my character yet but I think I’m gonna go long and thing with the penis. Like a wet noodle.
TIL while clearing space for the 1.4 patch that even when you have physical copies of a game, it takes up the same space as a digital copy in storage. Then why do I need to even use the disc?
Haven't read past this to see what other said, but ill let you know more after I play with the patch they released last night. Gameplay is a whole lot of fun, frame rates are solid, and it looks really good. I've had 2 game crashes, and probably 4 to 5 times I've had to restart the game in order to be able to progress the mission progress due to various things. This is all through about 5 hrs of playtime. It definitely takes away from the experience, but if you're dying to play then I'd say go ahead. Just prepare for some crashes/glitches.
More I read the experiences of console players the more it seems this game was only ready to launch on PC
I also had the bug that skillup had where everyone is just dancing in a club with no music during a mission. You could hear the music trying to play but it was so quiet that you could only hear the bass every now and then
Them not just biting the bullet and making it next gen only for console players is definitely a really poor decision by them. I'm sure it would be a much cleaner experience if they had.
Same. Some annoying stuff but I appreciate how it saves exactly where I’m at, even in the middle of a cutscene, when it crashes.
Just in the tutorial but I’m not digging the gameplay. Graphics aside, the mechanics are pretty shitty for a game like this.
I want to play stealth but the gun battles are the best part of the game mechanics. The driving is very bad.
For any of you guys wondering about Performance on consoles, give Digital Foundry a follow. Their videos are always good. I think they are still working on last gen Xbox stuff and getting a video ready for that. PS5 sticks to 60 fps pretty regularly, with around 1100+ resolution. Series X performance mode i think it said sticks at 1080 and 60 fps with a few more dips than ps5, although it does have higher crowd density on series x
Just rolled credits. Such a flawed game. If EA or Ubisoft made this the internet would have destroyed them by now.
main story and one path. Took a couple of PTO days for it. 5 more endings to see them all. I might do most of them
I’m really trying but the hacking and BD stuff is really turning me off of this game. Give me a good old fashioned open world shooter

I haven’t used hacking at all except to disarm some cameras and distract enemies. Most of my skills are in blades and stealth, but ever since I got the mantis blades I basically throw some grenades and run in and slash everything. It’s awesome.
I look at a lot of the bells and whistles (quick hacking, BD, etc) in a similar way to the intricacies of the crafting and combat system of Witcher 3. At first, it was almost overwhelming; so many weapons, so many potions, so much gear. Over time, you get used to it and realize that the huge number of options allow you to create nearly limitless possibilities, and you can sift through to find out what style you like the most for everything. This game will take a few playthroughs before I feel like I have everything figured out and I love that.
What are yall's thoughts on the BD's? Did the 1st two, and it feels super clunky on console. The only options to move time are the sometimes unresponsive ff/rw and play. They could keep that one as a slow rw/ff while using one of the sticks to let you rotate it as fast or slow as you want. As they are now, they're just too slow and clunky for me to enjoy. Its a shame because it does seem like a cool little mechanic
It does feel clunky on console and took some getting used to but I enjoyed it seems like their take on the investigation missions in Witcher and beats trailing missions
I don't know the specs on the PS4Pro vs. XB1X but the X is is pretty damn good at running it. I've been home screened 3 times in idk how many hours of play at least 20+. So if the Pro is ~ to the X then you don't need a next gen to enjoy it
I really hate the fuck out of this BD bullshit. It should be optional. I’m literally stuck because I have to complete a BD mission as the hooker and I refuse to do it because it’s fucking stupid

only thing for me was that the tutorial robbery one they claimed when you discovered all the clues when part of the colored bar was highlighted, then it would disappear. Which led me to believe I hadn't found something and kept looking for an extra 5 minutes before cracking and googling it. I may have misheard the thing about the colored bar indicator disappearing though
