InZahnWeTrust grinded out blue side missions for hours only to accidentally buy a $60,000 pontiac trans-am someone was selling. Orange. Very lovely
I gotta try to focus on the story. Games like this I always get side-tracked with clearing stuff off the map.
I plan on getting as close as I can on a 100% run with my blade nomad and then doing another couple of runs with the other two paths just to see the story for them. Grabbing small missions and doing all blue ones netted me $50k in an hour last night so I’ll probably try to collect all the vehicles too. Should allow for a lot of game play. Already looking forward to playing with pistols and other guns in the next one. Having a ton of fun hacking and slashing right now. Health regeneration after kills and cold blooded perks are pretty clutch.
What do you mean by all blue ones? All the blue drops? I'm currently doing a pistol main playthrough. Mostly with the power pistols. I enjoy it a lot.
the random police quests that pop up to clear out assaults in progress, organized crime, etc. I never sell anything. I break everything down including junk. Lets me upgrade weapons at will without ever worrying about it. Then I buy legendary materials from vendors when I come across them. Crafting will be something I start doing when I get a few more levels in it. Takes a lot to craft legendary weapons.
I've been using a pistol, AR, and blade. I prefer the AR but I keep running low on ammo. I also keep getting caught on fire, somehow, lol.
some enemy groups have one that will hack you with overheat. Killed me a lot when I was at lower levels. As an aside, the cybernetic enhancement that gives you the option of holding down jump and then releasing it to go flying is the best part of the game so far. Helps with navigating the map and exploring so much.
I didn't play the original CyberPunk. Is there anything I should know before jumping in? I bought it off Amazon and it was delivered on Thursday. I haven't broken the plastic on it yet though because I was hoping to wait til more bugs were out. Is it worth starting now? PS5. Sounds like they have another patch coming next week. I may just wait until that drops.
You mean the board game? Think you’re in common company with the rest of us; I’m guessing most everybody here bought it because it was CDPR. It depends on how much you value your initial impression of a game, I guess. If you go in expecting it to be perfect you’ll be disappointed, but it’s very playable and very good.
I'm pretty sure the more of the blue side-mission things you unlock the more that appear. I know that whenever I do a couple and my street cred goes up a level it says underneath that "x more missions available" so I'd think those blue things just keep populating as you clear other ones out. And per my source they definitely get harder by whatever area you're in. He tried one across town that had enemies 1 shotting him to critical health and had to spam medpacks the whole encounter
I know this game was a disaster on console and it’s definitely got some bugs on PC but this game is gorgeous and I am having so much fun with it
I’m 40 hours in and I can’t see an end to the enjoyment of bunny hopping around everywhere and slicing whole groups of enemies up with mantis blades. Add in the actually enjoyable side storylines (Panam is bae) and I love it.
True. I'm in no rush on ps5 though. So may just be a game I catch-up with a long while from now. But I'm not motivated to start it up again right now.
So the Monowire is pretty much useless. Thought it was the logical thing for my stealth build, but it does no damage.
It's supposed to be a high tech garrote, but when I charge it up and use it on someone in stealth, it takes only a 1/3 of their health. Should've gone with mantis blades.
spent yesterday grinding open world stuff early in a2. grabbed some legendaries last night before i stopped playing. gonna spend some time doing money exploits today, no shame. playing on very hard which is not really all that difficult. 14 int at level 14.
I’ve resisted the urge to look up where the legendary ones are. Mine are epic right now. I’d rather stumble upon them while playing. Gives me something to chase.
Not even sure I would say he is a great actor. He is okay in certain roles. I have to say that while I'm enjoying this game, I can't help but feel this just a shell of the game we were promised. I don't know exactly what happened during development but they clearly fucked up a lot.
I will always love Keanu but he’s not the charismatic anti-hero certainly looks awesome in the game though
Keanu is a bad actor. He has great roles, but is so monotonous. I like his character, so far. But I'm not far at all.
idk if i would go that farm it delivered on pretty much everything i expected but its buggy and ive consistently been able to fix bugs by closing and reopening.
I think it missed on quite a bit. And it clearly cut a ton of story content. The city just feels dead. They promised Rockstar levels of polish on the open world and it's not even close honestly. The AI is dumb as hell, basically shuts down if you walk away from them. The police AI is hilariously bad. Driving isn't great. Like I said I'm still enjoying the game but this isn't even as good as Witcher 3. Not by a long shot. They took several steps back in many ways. It's unfortunate.
